Study On The Design Of The Old And Young Compound Community Activity Center

In recent years,China’s aging population is becoming more and more serious,the number of the elderly population continues to expand and grow rapidly,coupled with the unique fertility policy implemented for a long time,resulting in the "421" inverted pyramid family structure in China [1].In 2016,China began to implement the comprehensive two-child policy,which led to the increasing burden of the young people.The scope of their activities is around the community.However,due to the construction of the activity space around the community,the design and construction did not fully consider the need to meet the use of the two at the same time,and the facilities for the aged and children in the community are seriously insufficient in quantity and quality,the coverage area is limited,the space is not perfect,and the types are lack of new ideas The management is also neglected,which makes the elderly and children have to "yield" to the other side when they are engaged in various recreational activities.After the opening of "421" and "422",a series of elderly fertility problems appeared in the family structure.This paper puts forward a new idea of building "integration of the old and the young" community activity center.And through the questionnaire survey,the activity space needs of the elderly and children were analyzed.fully understands their physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics,and creates a community activity center that takes care of the "old" and "young" and the "old" and "young".This study is divided into five parts.First,the background purpose and significance of the project are described,which provides the basis and support for the design research.Secondly,the paper summarizes the current situation research and practical exploration of the old and young complex facilities at home and abroad,which provides theoretical and practical basis for this study and lays the design foundation.Thirdly,according to the research on the existing community activities space in Hongshan District of Wuhan,and combining the similarities and complementarities of the needs of the elderly and children.Fourth,according to the previous research and user needs,the design strategy of the activity center of the old and young composite community is proposed.Fifth,according to the design strategy and user analysis,the design of "old and young composite" is implemented in the base of Wenhao square in Heye mountain community in Wuhan.There are multiple meanings in building "old and young compound" community activity space.However,in our country,the relevant theory and practice of this mode are still in the embryonic stage,and are still exploring and advancing.The author hopes that this study can provide some thinking for the old and young compound space.
