Shuozhou-Huanghuagang(Shuohuang)heavy-haul railway is the second largest heavy-haul transportation channel for transporting coal from west to east in China.With the increasing coal transportation demand,the axle load,total passing weight and traffic density have increased,and the deterioration of line equipment has intensified,which seriously affect traffic safety and shorten maintenance cycle.The application of large tamping machine of ballasted track is an effective method to eliminate track irregularity diseases in section,and is also an important operation of the annual comprehensive maintenance of Shuohuang railway.Due to the accelerating deterioration of ballasted track,the currently used track quality evaluation methods and standards can no longer meet the needs of safety management.Considering the need of reducing maintenance cost and the proposal of precise maintenance,the current periodic maintenance method faces higher requirements.The problems of "over-maintenance" and "lack-of-maintenance" need to be solved urgently,and the consideration of tamping mode,allocation of maintenance resources and economic benefits have also become an important research aspect for scientifical maintenance decision-making.Based on a large amount of track inspection,operation and maintenance data,this paper analyses the deterioration law of MTQI(Machine Tamping Quality Index)with the total passing weight of Shuohuang railway,proposes a tamping index based on deterioration rate,and formulates the standard of level classification for line section and graded management for track-quality.Based on analyzing of operation effect and economic cost of different tamping modes,a quantitative economical index M of tamping mode is proposed.Comprehensively considering the track quality and economic cost,a decision-making model for large machine tamping maintenance based on economy is established.Meanwhile,taking the synchronization and mutual interference of large machine cleaning operations into consideration,an auxiliary decision-making method for centralized maintenance of large machine tamping and cleaning is proposed.The specific contents of this paper including:(1)Analyzing on degradation law of track quality based on track inspection data.Based on a large amount of track inspection,operation and maintenance data,this paper analyses the law of track quality deterioration under the influence of large machine tamping and cleaning operations of Shuohuang railway,and calculates the deterioration rate of MTQI of Shuohuang railway with the development of the total passing weight.With the statistical analyzing on the deterioration rate of each section,this paper proposes to classify Shuohuang railway as level “I” and “II” for management.(2)Research on tamping evaluation based on deterioration rate and graded management standards.Based on the standard deviation of track quality,this paper introduces the section deterioration rate,and constructs a new evaluation index Q for tamping to realize the comprehensive evaluation and early warning of track status.Based on the distribution of MTQI index and deterioration rate,the acceptance,priority and over-limit graded management standards are proposed for tamping of the I and II level of Shuohuang Railway,providing a basis for the refined management of the track.(3)Analyzing on the effect and economy of tamping mode.Combining with popularization of the precision measurement and tamping mode,based on the track inspection data before and after tamping,this paper analyses the effect of the traditional tamping mode in Shuohuang railway and that of the typical precision measurement tamping mode,and establishes the effect models of different tamping modes.An economic index M,which comprehensively considers the tamping warranty period and operating cost,is proposed to evaluate the economic benefits of different tamping modes,providing a quantitative basis for the selection of tamping modes.(4)Research on centralized maintenance decision-making of tamping and cleaning based on economy.Determining tamping sections based on Q index,using the tamping section and tamping modes as decision variables,taking the optimal track quality and maintenance cost as the objective functions,a decision-making model for large machine tamping based on economy is established.Combined with the evaluation of the dirt index of large machine cleaning,the station distribution,large machine operation characteristics,tamping standards and other factors are taken as constraints.The mutual interference of large machine tamping and cleaning in time and place is also comprehensively considered,providing decision-making basis for making maintenance plan for tamping and cleaning with the most economic benefit and maintenance effect.
