Taking the double-roller-enveloped toroidal worm drive as the research object,the meshing characteristics are analyzed and researched based on the principle of gear meshing and the theory of elastohydrodynamic lubrication.The difference between the double-roller-enveloped toroidal worm and the traditional worm drive is that the worm wheel is assembled from two worm wheel bodies that are evenly distributed in the circumferential direction and can rotate the rollers around its own axis.The worm is based on the worm gear teeth.The roller surface is a toroidal worm formed by enveloping the mother,and the roller tooth surface of the transmission and the left and right tooth surfaces of the worm always keep meshing with each other.The transmission has the characteristics of less friction and wear,more stable transmission,higher transmission efficiency and transmission accuracy.The paper mainly analyzes the influence of the basic geometric parameters of the transmission(worm gear teeth,modulus,center distance,roller offset,staggered angle,roller radius,etc.)on its meshing performance and the minimum oil film thickness of the meshing tooth surface.And then get the best design parameter range to improve the gearing and lubrication performance of the transmission.The main research contents are as follows:First,use the gear meshing principle and differential geometry theory to mathematically model the transmission,and obtain the meshing characteristic equation of the transmission.Then use MATLAB software to combine the above equations with the corresponding formulas of the gear meshing principle to obtain the worm gear tooth number,modulus,center distance,staggered angle,roller offset,roller radius,worm wheel rotation angle and meshing characteristics curve relationship diagram,analyze the above parameters On the influence of the meshing characteristics,the parameter range of the transmission that is beneficial to the meshing performance is obtained.Based on the elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory,combined with the abovederived meshing characteristic equation,the equation of the minimum oil film thickness of the transmission is further established.Through MATLAB software,the worm gear teeth number,modulus,center distance,staggered angle,roller offset,roller radius,worm wheel rotation angle and the minimum oil film thickness are obtained.The relationship between the above parameters and the minimum oil film thickness is analyzed.The parameter range that is conducive to the lubrication performance of the transmission.Derive the helix equation of the worm tooth surface,establish the worm tooth surface helix in MATLAB software and get its point coordinates,import the point coordinate data of the tooth surface helix into the PRO/E software to establish the worm tooth surface feature,and then use SOLIDWORKS The software performs solid modeling and virtual assembly of worm gears.Finally,the assembly is checked for clearance and interference and motion simulation is performed to verify the correctness of the gear surface equation of the transmission worm gear.Figure[44]table[1]reference[80]...
