Due to the widespread use of computers,mobile phones and other electronic products,people’s long-term lowering of their heads for work and the development of bad habits such as staying up late,the incidence of cervical spondylosis has reached more than 10%,and the patients are getting younger and younger.Doctors often use surgical treatment,traction therapy,medication,acupuncture and other programs to treat cervical spondylosis.Traction therapy is an important treatment method for cervical spondylosis because it does not require surgery and is convenient to treat.Among them,cervical traction equipment is an important instrument for doctors to treat cervical patients.However,the current cervical traction equipment still has many shortcomings,such as fixed traction position and single treatment methods.In order to solve the above problems,we developed a new type of cervical traction equipment based on the principles of cervical traction and ergonomics.The main work done is as follows:(1)We developed a new type of cervical traction equipment in sitting position,built a system prototype,and realized movement and traction functions.In the course of treatment,cervical spine traction was used to perform multi-directional and multiangle traction treatment for cervical spine patients,and various types of cervical spine patients can be treated by various functions such as active and passive auxiliary exercises of hands and feet and waist massage.(2)According to the treatment methods and goals of the cervical traction equipment in the sitting position,a PLC-based control system and software were designed and developed.The corresponding sensors,transmitters and controllers are selected,the equipment control system was established,and the program design was completed.The human-computer interaction software was designed in TIA Portal,which realized the function of the medical staff to independently select the traction parameters.(3)Three-dimensional finite element model of the whole cervical spine from C1 to C7 was established with software such as Mimics,3-matic and Abaqus,and ligaments and intervertebral discs were added to verify the effectiveness of the model.According to the working principle of the equipment and the treatment method,the finite element analysis of the whole cervical spine model was carried out,and the relevant conclusions about the cervical intervertebral disc under different traction forces and traction angles were obtained.(4)According to the treatment methods of front,back,left and right traction and active and passive rehabilitation exercises of the equipment,the traction angle,traction force,and rehabilitation exercise function tests of the hands and feet were carried out,and the working stability of the sitting cervical traction equipment and control system designed and developed in this paper was analyzed.
