Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has veloped rapidly,and the central and local governments have invested heavily in the construction of national and provincial trunk roads.However,with the continuous improvement of the national highway traffic network,the construction of highway traffic has gradually slowed down,the supply of engineering is relatively shrinking,the market competition is more intense,the profit space is constantly decreasing,and the construction units are facing greater competition.Under such a large environment,highway construction enterprises should actively seek the application of scientific project cost control methods,face up to the existing problems of enterprise project cost control,and improve the level of project cost control of enterprises,make the enterprise have the ability of long-term survival and development.Based on the exploration results of highway construction cost management at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the problems and deficiencies in the cost management of highway construction projects in China at present,and expounds the theoretical basis of highway construction project cost management.Taking G highway construction project as an example,this paper finds out the present situation and existing problems of cost management in highway construction enterprises,and analyzes the factors that affect the cost control of highway construction.According to the existing problems,put forward the measures and methods of project cost management.Implemented and applied the target cost management method,established the highway construction cost appraisal reward and punishment system,elaborated the project appraisal reward and punishment system essential and order effects.prove the scientific nature and effectiveness of the adopted method,in order to have a certain reference value and reference to the future cost management of highway construction enterprises.
