| The energy consumption of the subway environmental control system accounts for a relatively large amount in the energy consumption of metro operation,it has certain practical significance to choose a suitable environmental control system to reduce the energy consumption of metro operation.In this paper,an innovative platform screen doors(PSDs)system with adjustable ventilation is a kind of energy saving measure based on the conventional PSDs system by adding the controllable slits.The size of the opening adjustable ventilation can be controlled according to the different seasons and passenger flows.The system can make use of the piston wind in the tunnel to supplement the fresh air for the platform.This paper studies the performance of the adjustable ventilation to replenish the fresh air needed by the metro platform,the influence of opening the adjustable ventilation on the comfort of the metro platform,and also analyzes the energy saving of the adjustable ventilation of different sizes and the economy in different climate zones.According to the difference of fresh air quantity required by different passenger flow on three typical operating days in metro station,this paper studies whether the supplement of different size adjustable ventilation to the platform fresh air can meet passengers’ demand for fresh air under different train numbers.It studies the influence of the piston wind caused by the train entering the station on the platform waiting environment under the scheme of opening the adjustable ventilation of different sizes by the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)and dynamic grid.When the size of the upper ventilation is 500 mm and the adjustable ventilation of the upper size is 500 mm and the lower size is 250 mm are opened,the wind speed of the platform is not more than 5m/s,it can maintain the comfort of the platform waiting environment.When passengers’ demand for fresh air cannot be met only by opening adjustable ventilation,mechanical ventilation equipment should be used to supplement fresh air.In this paper,a combined operation scheme of adjustable ventilation and mechanical ventilation is formulated,and the air distribution in the platform under the combined ventilation scheme is studied.It is suggested that adjustable ventilation with the upper size of 500 mm and the lower size of 250 mm be used on rest days and holidays,and operate together with mechanical ventilation to meet passengers’ demand for fresh air.This paper analyzes the energy saving potential of using adjustable ventilation under different combined ventilation schemes,and studies the energy saving and economy of using adjustable ventilation in typical cities of different climate zones(Adaptability).The energy saving and economy of adjustable ventilation are the most prominent in hot summer and warm winter regions,followed by cold regions.The average energy saving rate of adjustable ventilation with size of 250 mm,500mm,750 mm and 1000 mm in different climate zones can reach 28.84%,46.57%,75.82%and 83.65% compared with that adjustable ventilation not used respectively.The conclusion of this paper can provide reference for the research and application of the subway platform screen door system with adjustable ventilation. |
