Xiang-Gui Corridor is located at the junction of Hunan and Guangxi provinces between Yuechengling Mountain and Haiyang Mountain,the north-south geographical channel connected by Xiangjiang River,Lingqu River and Guijiang River complete waterways.The corridor has naturally become a traffic artery for all kinds of business groups,and all kinds of business groups have left a large number of guild halls along the corridor.Located at the junction of Hunan and Guangxi,the Xiang-Gui Corridor is deeply influenced by the two regional cultures of Hunan and Lingnan,and is also one of the regions where the collision and fusion of Central Plains and Lingnan cultures are the most intense.As a result,the Xiang-Gui Corridor has become a complex with functions such as transportation,commercial activities and cultural exchanges.The regional culture,business culture and business route of the corridor have a relatively important influence on the distribution,architectural space,architectural form,inheritance and evolution of the guild buildings along the corridor.From the unique perspective of Xiang-Gui Corridor,this paper discusses the type distribution,architectural space,architectural form,inheritance and evolution of the guild buildings along the line through reading and sorting out a large number of documents and combining with field investigation and ancient architectural mapping.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is an overview of the basic concept,regional culture,commercial pattern,commercial culture and guild hall along the Xiang-Gui Corridor.The guild halls along the Xiang-Gui Corridor is described with the business routes of Jiangxi,Hunan,Guangdong and Fujian four major commercial bands.The second part analyzes the influence factors and distribution characteristics of the guild halls along the Xiang-Gui Corridor by combining the density map,quantity map,type map and establishment time map on the basis of the first part.The third part,combined with field research,divides the Xiang-Gui Corridor into three spatial sections,namely Xiangjiang River Section,Transition Section and Guijiang River Section,and explores the spatial and morphological characteristics of the guild halls along the Xiang-Gui Corridor from the aspects of plane layout and orientation,architectural space,architectural form and structure,architectural decoration and details.The fourth part selects the guild halls in Xiangjiang section,transitional section and Guijiang section of the Xiang-Gui Corridor,which are of high protection level and in good condition,and makes a specific analysis of these typical cases from the aspects of historical evolution and architectural form.The fifth part makes a comparative analysis of the guild halls along the Xiang-Gui Corridor,and concludes the relationship between the inheritance and evolution of the guild halls along the corridor.Finally,the paper summarizes the current situation of the guild halls along the Xiang-Gui Corridor,explores the reasons for its decline,and puts forward the significance and value of relevant research for the contemporary society. |
