Hydrocyclone is a kind of separation equipment for coarse and fine size particles based on centrifugal force,which is used for classification,concentration,washing,impurity removal and other industrial applications on solid-liquid particles.Till now,it is commonly applied in industries including environmental protection,sulfur removal,mineral separation,tailing stacking,chemical industry,food and medicine etc.Till now,most researches on hydrocyclone are focusing on the cone angle,feeding type,vortex finder and spigot structure,While there are not many researches carried out on the rectangular feeding port aspect ratio.Through the numerical analysis,the influence of the adjustment of the equivalent parameters of the feed port of the hydrocyclone on the classification index of the hydrocyclone is understood.This paper mainly focuses on the pressure distribution,PSD and circumferential speed distribution caused by slurry in hydrocyclone.Adopt flow field numerical analysis with computer technology to discuss the speed on axial,radial and tangential directions as well as the dispersed phase thickness and pressure field distribution rule.According to the analysis on hydrocyclone classifying performance,the influence of rectangular feeding port aspect ratio on the classification efficiency of the hydrocyclone was studied without interference from other structural factors,the optimum structural parameters of the hydrocyclone are obtained.cyclone structure improvement laid the foundation,the best inlet aspect ratio combination is finally obtained.According to the different inlet aspect ratio combination,under the same external condition in the laboratory,the influence rule of changing the inlet aspect ratio analysis to the the hydrocyclone classifying performance,and influence of different feeding aspect ratio on hydrocyclone classifying performance are researched.By eliminating the interference of other structural factors,the optimal hydrocyclone structure parameters are achieved..The basic research on the equipment,such as the size composition and mineral composition of the sample was carried out.Advantages of hydrocyclone with 2.0 height to width ratio structure was verified by industrial application of the optimal height to width ratio hydrocyclone.The technical index of hydrocyclone is improved. |
