Indoor ornament placement refers to selecting suitable ornaments from the ornament database and placing them in the 3D scene in the correct posture and size.At present,the selection and placement of indoor ornaments are all done manually by users.However,it is so time-consuming and energy-consuming for users to select ornaments suitable for a specific 3D scene from a large amount of ornament data.Moreover,since the initial posture and size of the ornament data are not certain,it may does not fit the current 3D space after being placed in the space,and users need to adjust them manually,which further increases the complexity of the indoor ornament placement.In addition,since the placement process is purely manually controlled,the quality of the plan depends on the individual’s aesthetic level,and the quality is not in control.Therefore,it is of great practical value and research significance to design an automated indoor ornament pose placement method that replaces manual labor.In response to the problems mentioned above,this article has done following researches on the placement of indoor ornaments:(1)Aiming at the current problem of how to select suitable ornaments from massive ornament database,this article proposes a data-driven intelligent ornament placement method based on cascading fusion models and features.This method integrates the spatial characteristics and the ornament features to obtain a candidate list of a single ornament through a coarse-to-fine screening process.Then this method improves the traditional Apriori algorithm based on the recommendation result to generate the ornament combination recommendation result.(2)In order to automatically adjust the pose of the ornaments,this paper proposes a classlevel object pose estimation method fused with depth estimation.This method firstly estimates the corresponding depth map from the RGB image,and then uses the average shape and depth map within the class to estimate the pose of the ornament,so that the pose of the ornament can be further adjusted.(3)Using the model above,this article designs and implements an automatic indoor ornaments placement system,which can automatically recommend suitable ornaments to the corresponding 3D display space,and correct the initial pose of the ornaments model after loading the ornaments,and the system can visually evaluate two models above.The experimental results show that the indoor ornament placement method designed in this paper can better complete the task of automated ornament placement and can reduce the manual labor of users selecting and adjusting ornament to a comparatively great extent.
