Natural gesture interaction can reduce the driver’s cognitive load and visual resource occupation,and is gradually becoming an important direction of automotive HMI research[1],but the user experience of gesture interaction products is generally poor.This research aims to discuss the applicability of gesture interaction in various scenarios of intelligent driving based on scenario analysis.And to design gesture definition,gesture guidance and gesture feedback.Then through a systematic verification and evaluation system,The design scheme is verified and optimized.The research process of this thesis mainly includes four parts:theory construction,scenario analysis,design practice,and usability verification:First of all,this thesis builds the theory of gesture interaction for intelligent driving based on existing research and market practice.By defining the elements and principles of intelligent driving gesture design,clarifying the scope of design practice and evaluation elements;by combing and integrating the research on human-computer interaction compatibility in engineering psychology,constructing the DMPT compatibility model of gesture interaction design in the intelligent driving scenario,which provides the core theoretical basis for this research.After that,this thesis combines user research methods to complete the intelligent driving scenario analysis.Through questionnaire surveys,telephone interviews and other methods,in-depth research on the driving process of intelligent driving users.By combing through the various contextual elements obtained by user research,complete the intelligent driving scenario analysis and construct the intelligent driving scenario portrait.Subsequently,based on the scenario analysis,this thesis carries out the gesture interaction design of the intelligent driving scenario and defines a three-dimensional verification system.The scenario portrait obtained through scenario analysis determines the gesture interaction event set;the display interaction prototype is completed by combing the information architecture of the intelligent driving scenario portrait;and the closed-loop gesture interaction design including user mental model construction and gesture definition,gesture guidance and gesture feedback is carried out;and To verify and evaluate the compatibility of the interactive scenario and the usability of the design plan.Finally,this thesis conducts usability verification by building a virtual intelligent driving gesture interaction system.The test system was built by using the Unity 3D engine,Logi G29components and Leap Motion sensors and other equipment.The usability of the gesture interaction system is verified by driving man-machine experiment.It is found that the satisfaction evaluation of the subjects using the gesture interaction scheme of this research is relatively better than that of the touch screen interaction,and it was verified that the HUD realtime feedback of gesture interaction was beneficial to the subjects’driving performance and interactive tasks.The experiment proves the good usability of the design plan,but also finds the shortcomings,and carried out design optimization.To sum up,In theory,this thesis uses scenario analysis to design the closed-loop gesture interaction of the intelligent driving situation,and uses design methods to improve the usability of the intelligent scenario gesture interaction and the ability to prevent misoperation,and guide users reasonably;In practical applications,this thesis provides the scenario analysis method of the DMPT compatibility model of gesture interaction design,and a three-dimensional verification system,These provide a clear and integrated research ideas and specific methods for subsequent gesture interaction design research. |
