The rapid growth of the global economy depends on the development of energy supply.Thus,building a power system dominated by new energy resources has become an important strategic target.Microgrid is regarded as the main form of power system to absorb the new energy resources,and its capacity optimal planning leads the current research hotspot of energy-power system.In recent years,with the continuous development of the power market mechanism,the price-based as well as some other forms of demand response has brought an important method to stabilize the random fluctuations of distributed renewable power sources,and provided a new idea to optimize the planning of microgrid capacity from the daily operation of the microgrid.The application of demand response in microgrid capacity optimal planning needs in-depth researches.Therefore,this article takes the load characteristics into account and forms the load-characteristics-based demand response price models to reflect the management effect of demand response on different loads.On this basis,the application of microgrid capacity optimal planning considering demand response is improved.The major contributions of this paper can be summarized as follows:(1)Characteristics-based demand response price models are provided.Based on the analysis of the elastic relationship between the price and the power demand,the price elasticity coefficient is introduced to describe the demand response price model under the peak-valley time-of-use pricing strategy.In order to further describe the effects on different loads in demand response,different load characteristics,including time-shift characteristics,load-interruption characteristics and space-transfer characteristics,are analyzed.On this basis,the price elasticity coefficient is modified to suit the application of demand response considering different load characteristics.(2)Research on capacity optimal planning for independent microgrid considering time-domain load characteristics is developed.A two-level optimization model for microgrid capacity optimal planning between planning process and operation process is formed.On this basis,the microgrid capacity optimal planning method based on demand response considering time-shift characteristics and load-interruption characteristics is studied.The impacts of time-domain load characteristics on demand response and capacity optimal planning results are analyzed,thus providing the practical decision-making basis for microgrid capacity optimal planning issues.(3)The economic objective and control objective under planning process and operation process of multi-microgrids are analyzed,and the multi-objective optimization model for the capacity optimal planning of multi-microgrids is established.Furthermore,the multi-microgrid capacity optimal planning method is studied considering the aformentioned price model with space-transfer characteristics.The impacts of loads with space-domain load characteristics on the capacity optimal planning of multi-microgrid system are revealed,thus providing the practical decision-making basis for regional multi-microgrid capacity optimal planning issues.
