Landscape Character Assessment And Delimitation Of Three Types Of Landscape Areas Of Nanning City

Landscape character assessment is regarded as an important tool to assist regional landscape decision-making.European region has carried out multi-scale and multi-level landscape character assessment practice,which fully demonstrates the application prospect of landscape as a management tool in regional spatial governance.However,so far,there has not been any work on landscape character assessment at the city scale in China,nor has it been applied to the practice of regional space management.In this context,based on the provincial work,this paper studies how to carry out the localization practice of landscape character assessment at the city scale,and whether the transformation and application of landscape achievements can meet the needs of spatial governance.As an exploratory application research,this paper mainly includes the following three parts:The first is the working methods and achievements of landscape character assessment at the city scale.Taking Nanning as the research object,based on the work of provincial assessment,this paper puts forward the working logic of only paying attention to the physical and geographical characteristics,which is different from the provincial level,but focuses on the "human impact factors on landscape".In this study,construction land data and farmland data are selected as the main indicators of zoning,and high-resolution images are used to assist the division.Through the isoline density method and GIS spatial analysis,47 landscape types and 91 landscape character areas are identified after superimposing the provincial outline map.Based on the landscape feature base map and landscape database,the landscape description of city scale and specific boundary is carried out,and the detailed landscape feature description text is drawn for each landscape type.The second is to verify the effectiveness of "three types of landscape areas" in spatial governance.Referring to the "three major spaces" in the spatial planning,the dimensions of the landscape types are reduced and merged,and the "three types of landscape areas" are extracted.By comparing the similarities and differences between "three types of landscape areas" and "three major spaces",the applicability and advantages of landscape feature assessment tools in regional governance are clarified.Third,landscape governance guidelines.This paper analyzes the landscape dilemma faced by Nanning,and puts forward regional landscape strategies and local scale landscape guide samples for the three types of landscape areas,so as to realize the landscape transmission control from region to site.Based on the theory and method of landscape character assessment,this paper carries out the local innovative practice of domestic city scale assessment.The results can be further applied to the governance of regional space,and put forward landscape governance guidelines.The exploratory attempt of regional governance based on landscape perspective can expand new ideas and methods for land spatial planning in the new era.
