| The continuous long downhill section of mountainous highway is an area where traffic accidents frequently occur,and setting up escape lanes is an effective engineering measure to improve the driving safety.A comprehensive construction and management system of escape lanes has not yet been formed in China,which has led to the construction of some irregular escape lanes,causing various traffic accidents.In daily management and maintenance,sometimes the road related department can not be inspected in real time,resulting in uncontrolled vehicles on the escape lane can not be found and rescued in time,which is easy to induce secondary accidents.Therefore,in view of the contradiction between the construction and management status of the existing escape lanes and the demand for highway safety,it is necessary to study and construct a escape lane management system with real-time query and real-time feedback functions.Based on the scientific and technological project of Guizhou Provincial Department of Transportation,’Research and Development and Demonstration Application of Remote Information Management and Control System for Escape Lanes’(Contract No.2019-122-010),this paper,on the basis of consulting a large number of relevant literature on escape lanes at home and abroad,combined with the research results of analyzing the application status of escape lanes on ordinary national and provincial trunk highways in mountainous areas of China,conducts research on the reasonable design method of ’monitoring and early warning system of escape lane’.Based on the safety management requirements of escape lanes,the paper designs the basic framework and functional structure of ’monitoring and early warning system of escape lane’ based on the principles of realizing the timely perception of incidents,real-time accident feedback,and vehicle early warning functions.The key to the design of the system is to achieve accurate perception of the state of the escape lane.Based on the comparative analysis of the cost and applicability of the vehicle detection technology,the infrared correlation detector is selected as the core sensing device.To improve the universality and fault tolerance of the system’s perception function,the detector layout method and abnormal event discrimination index are designed: based on the dynamic theory,the dynamic model of the out-of-control vehicle in the escape lane is established to obtain the deceleration calculation formula.And determine the key vehicle models with the greatest risk;analyze the movement process of the truck blocking a single pair of detectors,and derive the distance between the detectors;integrate the key vehicle models and the detector layout methods,clarify the vehicle blocking time,and then set the discrimination index.In order to ensure the stability and safety of the system function in the application,the Markov model of the irreparable system is established,and the reliability and safety indexes of the system are analyzed.Based on the output reliability and safety function of MATLAB platform,the optimal layout scheme of the system is proposed.At last,through actual case design and demonstration applications,to verify the feasibility of the design method for the monitoring and early warning system of the escape lane.Through the above research,the article builds a monitoring and early warning system of escape lanes based on infrared correlation detection technology.The system has the functions of accurately identifying abnormal events,efficiently responding to emergencies,and quickly transmitting accident information.And the article puts forward the optimal layout plan of the system detector and design method of discriminant index.The research results of this paper’s ’monitoring and early warning system of escape lane’ are applied to the escape lane at K27+300 in the downhill section of Guizhou S313 highway.The system runs well during the demonstration application,and more than ten incidents of uncontrolled vehicles rushing into the escape lane are found,which effectively improve the management and control efficiency of the escape lane,shorten the time for vehicle rescue,and enhance the safety of the escape lane.The design method of the monitoring and early warning system of the escape lane proposed in the article has practical feasibility. |
