Steel structure is more and more widely used in various building structures because of its durability,shock resistance,good wind resistance and other advantages.Steel frame structure is a common type of structure with simple structure and clear force.The lateral resistance and seismic performance of steel frame structure can be significantly improved by adding braces.There are various types of braces,including herringbone braces,cross braces,eccentric braces,axillary braces,etc.In this paper,an 8-story steel frame structure and two engineering structures are used to analyze the influence of different bracing forms on the seismic performance of steel frame structures.An 8-story steel frame structure was built with ANSYS finite element software,and four types of braces were arranged,including herringbone braces,cross braces,eccentric braces and axillary braces,respectively.The braces were arranged in two ways: one-story braces and interlayer ones.For the steel support frame model for modal analysis,respectively by Mexican wave,El-centro,tianjin wave and Taft wave for the nonlinear time history analysis,research the model of maximum interlayer displacement Angle and maximum acceleration,the research results show that using eccentric support in the form of a steel frame structure seismic performance is best,and the cost is relatively low.Taking the actual project of an experimental kindergarten in Qingdao City as an example,the ANSYS modeling analysis was carried out,and the eccentric braces and axillary braces were selected to improve the seismic performance of the structure.The research results show that the use of eccentric braces can significantly improve the stability of the structure,and the seismic performance can reach the level 8force-proof intensity.Taking the six-story steel frame structure of a community service center in Qingdao as an example,ANSYS modeling analysis is carried out,modal analysis and nonlinear time-history analysis are carried out,and the seismic performance of the steel frame is studied by comparing the pure frame structure with the structure with different braces.The results show that the seismic performance of the steel frame can be significantly improved by using eccentric braces.Under the condition of reasonable cost,the seismic capacity of the structure can be increased by one degree.
