| As an indispensable part of the urban transportation system, road intersections are important basic hubs for urban traffic participants to gather, turn and evacuate.During the operation of road intersections, the way of diversion is used to reduce or eliminate the conflict points in the operation of pedestrians and vehicles. On the one hand, the traffic safety is ensured, and on the other hand, the traffic capacity of the road is effectively improved and the traffic congestion is reduced occur. This paper takes the straight-going vehicles driving at road intersections in mountainous cities as the research object, and uses UAV video tracking experiments to study their driving characteristics. The UAV video tracking test carried out involves 10 road intersections of different types and gradients. All tested vehicles are randomly selected, and there is no interference during driving.UAV shooting video The material is calculated and extracted by the Datafromsky software to obtain a large amount of actual vehicle driving data.According to the change curve of the average and maximum speed of the straight-going vehicles, this article summarizes the driving mode of the free-flow straight-going vehicles at the intersection. The free-flow straight-going vehicle driving mode consists of three stages: Phase I-entering the deceleration phase, phase II internal acceleration driving phase at the intersection, and phase III exiting the acceleration phase;starting straight vehicles driving is a single-phase mode of continuous acceleration driving. Then, this article analyzes the speed characteristics of free-flow straight-going vehicles at intersections of different types and gradients, focusing on the starting and ending points of each stage of speed change and the distribution of the shifting length. For starting straight vehicles, the focus is on the distribution of tail speed, end point and length of the speed change during the speed change phase, and the speed change trend is studied. Finally, this paper studies the acceleration characteristics of free-flow and starting straight vehicles, analyzes the statistical distribution characteristics of the acceleration of the vehicle under different driving conditions, and obtains the range of acceleration calibration values that can be used for vehicle simulation tests or to establish a running speed model.A boundary mathematical model of acceleration-variable length distribution is established. To sum up,this paper adopts a novel test method, and the vehicle driving data obtained provide a theoretical basis and data value basis for the design optimization of mountain city intersection and related computer simulation scientific research. |
