In recent years,China has vigorously supported and developed offshore oil and gas projects,especially the establishment of underwater oil and gas production system.In the Bohai Sea,the South China Sea and other sea areas,the underwater production system has been put into use,increasing the exploitation of China’s offshore oil and gas resources,and providing help to solve the national energy problem.In the underwater oil and gas production system,the underwater electrical connector plays an important role in connecting all modules of the underwater production system,transmitting photoelectric signals and providing electric energy for each module.However,the technology of underwater electrical connector has been monopolized by foreign countries.The development level of our country is far behind the world level.The existing underwater production platforms use the relevant products of foreign companies.Aiming at the underwater electrical connection technology,this paper proposes two schemes of underwater wet plug-in electrical connector,pin protection type and composite pin type.Based on the brief introduction of the research background,this paper analyzes the development status of the underwater wet plug-in electrical connector at home and abroad,summarizes the working principle,design requirements,overall structure and performance analysis of the underwater wet plug-in electrical connector,and expounds the design schemes of two kinds of underwater wet plug-in electrical connector,including the design basis,technical route and overall conclusion Structure: the structure design of pin protection type and composite pin type,including pressure bearing structure design analysis,plug and lock mechanism design analysis,power-off protection mechanism design analysis,electrical connection mechanism design analysis and seal mechanism design analysis;the pressure bearing performance,power-off protection performance and electrical connection of pin protection type and composite pin type underwater wet plug-in electrical connector The performance is optimized.The results show that the two types of underwater wet plug-in electrical connector can meet the requirements of use;the composite pin type underwater wet plug-in electrical connector has advantages in pressure bearing performance and power-off protection mechanism,and the pin protected underwater wet plug-in electrical connector has better electrical connection.In this paper,the design and characteristic analysis of the underwater wet plug-in electrical connector are carried out,which provides a new idea for the nationalization of the underwater electrical connection technology,and provides a reference for the subsequent design of the underwater wet plug-in electrical connector.
