With the continuous expansion of the city scope,passenger travel demand and travel distance are growing,as an effective way to meet the travel needs between the central city and the new city(or group),suburban rail transit is favored by many cities for its large volume,long distance,fast speed and other characteristics.In order to better match passenger demand,suburban rail transit has high requirements for running speed and station spacing,and often runs in the form of express/local trains.Express trains run across stations at certain times,leading to the long travel time per kilometer of passengers at these stations.Thus there is the question of whether this public transport service is fair to passengers at those skip stations.Fairness and efficiency often follow the rule of antinomy,fairness will be affected by improving efficiency,and efficiency will be reduced by considering fairness.How to set up train timetable and train stop plan reasonably to meet the needs of most passengers,and ensure the operating efficiency of operating enterprises while taking into account the fairness of passengers at the skip stations,and how to find the balanced point between fairness and efficiency in the suburban rail transit are the focuses of this paper.Based on dynamic passenger flow,the concept of traffic fairness is introduced into the research of skip-station operation of suburban rail transit in this paper,and the integration of suburban rail transit train timetable and stop plan is optimized to ensure efficiency while considering fairness,the main work is as follows:(1)First of all,the efficiency and fairness of suburban rail transit are defined.In terms of efficiency,the method of measuring passenger efficiency and operator efficiency is proposed.In terms of fairness,the fairness of different stations caused by train timetables and stop plans is analyzed,and the quantitative evaluation method of the fairness of suburban rail transit based on Gini coefficient is introduced.Then the problem of the integrated optimization of timetable and stop plan balancing fairness and efficiency is described.The mechanism of how to allocate resources reasonably to improve fairness in the theory of fair utility is studied,and it is applied to the method of improving the fairness of operation plan to passengers at different stations.By studying the above contents,theoretical support is provided for the establishment of the integrated optimization model of train timetable and stop plan balancing efficiency and fairness under dynamic passenger flow.(2)Based on the theory of defining the efficiency and the fairness of suburban rail transit,3 integrated optimization models of train timetable and stop plan considering only efficiency,both fairness for stations and efficiency and both α-fairness for stations and efficiency are proposed.The models have different objectives,but all take into account the constraints of train dwell time,safety headway,the number of train stop times and station service frequency.(3)The complexity and characteristics of the model are analyzed,and the simulated annealing algorithm based on the adaptive large neighborhood search algorithm is designed to solve the model.A small case is studied using CPLEX and the heuristic algorithm,which verifies the validity of the model and algorithm.And Shanghai Jinshan line is selected as the large-scale case for optimization research.Using the evaluation index of efficiency and fairness to compare and analyze the optimization results of the model,the optimal model balancing equal fairness for stations and efficiency is selected to be the best one.By adjusting the value of parameters in the model and algorithm and analyzing sensitivity,the influence of parameter values on the solution results of the integrated optimization model is discussed.The result shows that the integrated optimization model banlancing equal fairness for stations and efficiency can be well adapted to dynamic passenger flow.Compared with other models,by appropriately increasing train stop times and balancing train departure time,it can reduce the passenger input-output ratio(travel time per kilometer)at stations with fewer passenger traffic,ensuring efficiency while taking into account passenger fairness at different stations.The model reduces the efficiency by 10.48%while improving the fairness by 41.38%,which indicates that it can greatly improve the passenger fairness with less impact on the overall efficiency.Thus the level of public transport service can be improved and effective reference for suburban rail transit organization can be provided.This paper includes 48 figures,37 tables and 69 reference literatures.
