Research On Millimeter Wave Radar Test System For Intelligent Vehicle

With the development of automotive electronic technology rapidly,the vehicle is rapidly developing in the direction of intelligence.Intelligent vehicle has gradually become a hot spot for most automakers all over the world,but it has also included more and more security issues.Safety is the most important requirement for all drivers.Advanced driver assistance system is an important guarantee for the safety of intelligent vehicle.Millimeter wave radar is the main sensor in the ADAS of intelligent vehicle,which requires multiple tests on its performance and functions to ensure the safety of intelligent vehicle.Therefore,by doing research on current millimeter wave radar test content and test methods,this paper designs and develops a millimeter wave radar test system based on NI tool chain for intelligent vehicle,which realizes the perform testing and functional testing.The main research contents and innovative results of this paper are as follows:Firstly,according to the internal structure and working principle of the intelligent vehicle millimeter wave radar,the test content and test requirements of the millimeter wave radar are analyzed,and the main test contents of the test system are determined.Secondly,based on the testing requirements of millimeter wave radar,the feasibility of the hardware platform of the test system is analyzed.The overall structure design of the hardware platform of the intelligent vehicle millimeter wave radar test system is completed.The test system hardware platform was designed by using the NI tool chain.Thirdly,the software platform environment of the intelligent vehicle millimeter wave radar test system is analyzed.The LabVIEW is used to design the performance test and function test program for the test system,and the function test of millimeter wave radar is realized by CarMaker scene simulation software.Finally,the intelligent vehicle millimeter wave radar test system is verified and analysed.The test system is verified by actual testing of the millimeter wave radar sample.The millimeter wave radar test system verification includes system hardware function verification,system performance verification,system function verification,CarMaker scene simulation function verification.
