The high-quality development of high-speed railway is inseparable from the support of mobile communication system.The research and rapid development of the5 G key technologies will promote the evolution of railway mobile communication system.In order to strengthen railway safety protection capabilities and create a modern smart railway system,5G-R not only needs to satisfy safety-related train operation services,but also needs to meet broadband services such as high-definition video monitoring and the passenger information service.New railway broadband services require 5G-R wireless network to provide stable coverage.Field strength measurement is a key process in the assessment of wireless network coverage.Therefore,field strength measurement equipment is used to measure the signal power at the receiving end of the train to determine the coverage capacity of the railway wireless network.The coverage of base stations can be obtained through field strength measurement software.It can help the network optimizer locate problems and provide optimization solutions.In this way,the network status can meet actual needs,and the balance of network operation and maintenance efficiency and expenditure can be ensured.The main work of this thesis includes:(1)Researching the architecture of the 5G-R mobile communication system and the radio wave propagation characteristics.Based on the 5G-R frequency band physical channel and physical signal characteristics,propose key measurement indicators for evaluating the coverage of the 5G-R wireless network by combining wireless network planning and evaluation requirements.(2)Studying the field strength measurement principle and implementation process.Based on the software-defined radio platform,a field strength measurement system for5G-R wireless network coverage assessment is designed and developed.A modular solution is adopted to integrate the field strength measurement system.It is divided into three parts: data acquisition module,data processing module,and data playback module.The field strength measurement of 5G-R wireless network is achieved by selecting appropriate sampling intervals and data processing methods.(3)Completing the comparative evaluation of the 5G-R field strength measurement system and commercial field strength measurement system.Using the laboratory hardware platform and software environment to build the measurement platform,which verified the performance of the frequency offset estimation algorithm used by the receiver.Combined with the uncertainty theory,the evaluation of the power measurement accuracy of the field strength measurement system is completed.
