| The stability and durability of the structure depends on the design criteria and construction methodology.In real application,unexpected events like earthquakes which occur around the project area can affect it when not considered before.Due environmental changes,earthquakes events occurrences are highly increasing.In this work,the analysis and enactment of seismic control mechanism have been discussed.The assessments of seismic control mechanism in cable stayed bridge have been prepared by nonlinear SAP2000 software version.Design criteria of different structural configuration have been obtained.The initial approach was to ensure the capacity of the original system of the investigated cable stayed bridge under static loading.Then the earthquake loading was done to check the response of the structure system under El Centro earthquake component without control mechanism.Additionally,introduction of FVD’s to the system was done and the analysis results shows great reduction of performance indicators compared to non-isolated system.Not only that,but also other control device LRB’s was presented and significant enhancement of seismic enactment was shown.Therefore,the overall seismic enactment of the bridge has significantly improved under presence of isolated system. |
