| Feng Jicai,the first person to protect traditional villages in China,said,"Traditional villages are the basic living unit of a farming society,and they hold various historical memories and details.Each traditional village is a living body and the foundation of national culture.Today we are facing a cultural problem of the times,which is the issue of protecting traditional villages." China is a large farming country,and traditional villages are the largest non-renewable heritage left by China ’s farming civilization.It has formed regional cultural features with unique connotation and natural landscapes in the 5000-year-long history of China.And carries the non-renewable vernacular architecture style and historical and cultural heritage.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China points out that "without a high degree of cultural self-confidence and cultural prosperity,there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation",If the environment determines the developing quality of a village,culture determines the developmental potential of the village.Good living and development environment,profound historical and cultural heritage,are the keys to a village’s sustainable development.However,with the progress of urbanization,the invasion of industrial civilization and urban civilization is continuously squeezing the living space of vernacular culture.Traditional villages are regarded as a stumbling block to curb modern development,and gradually become "hollow villages" where people are eager to escape.As a result,a large number of traditional villages have lost their unique cultural and spiritual connotation,and the self-growth and renewal ability of vernacular culture has been continuously weakened.Therefore,in the process of new countryside construction,strengthening the culture construction of traditional villages and meeting the growing cultural needs of the farmers,are not only the inevitable requirements of promoting the new socialist countryside construction,but an important content of promoting the protection and regeneration of traditional villages.Nanhengkou village in Jingxing County,Hebei Province,as a traditional village with profound historical memory,cultural heritage and aesthetic value.Its vernacular architecture and ceramics culture features reflect the local folk customs,spatial pattern and architectural features.In addition,they embody the harmonious relationship between ancient villages as human environment and surrounding natural environment.By combing the relationship among new countryside construction and traditional villages,ceramic cultural heritage protection and other concepts,summarizing the relevant analysis and reflection on the excellent cases in China of protecting and regenerating traditional villages,and analyzing the heritage protection current situation of Nanhengkou village,this paper attempts to put forward views and opinions on the protection and regeneration of Nanhengkou Village from the perspective of ceramic culture.Based on the profound ceramic culture,we should revive the ceramic culture of Nanhengkou Village,and strive to keep nostalgia and vitality in the process of living preservation of traditional villages,then maintain its integrity,characteristics and continuity.In conclusion,this paper makes a reasonable prospect for the protection and regeneration of traditional villages in China. |
