With the rapid development in our economy and the construction of urban infrastructure,the ground space can no longer satisfy the need of urban traffic construction,leading to accelerate the exploitation and utilization of underground space.The pipe jacking method,as one of the underground excavation construction methods,has such advantages as being economic,safe and higher efficiency,which’s the reason that the pipe jacking method has been widely used in the exploitation and utilization of underground space,especially for the underpass urban roads,urban sewage tank culverts,and subway entrances and exits in the proposed projects.In order to improve the utilization rate of section,the section of the jacking pipe is usually designed to be rectangular,and it in actual projects is also increasing,and the disturbance to the surrounding soil during the construction process also increases.When the large section rectangular jacking pipe passing through sewage tank culvert,it will not only disturb the surrounding soil,but also cause the deformation of the structures around the surface and tunnel.When the deformation is too large,it will affect the surrounding environment and the safety of construction and personnel.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the deformation of large section rectangular pipe jacking passing through sewage tank culvert.This paper will rely on a large section rectangular pipe jacking project under through a confluent sewage tank culvert project in Shanghai,and analyze and study the deformation caused by the construction process of the rectangular pipe jacking through the field monitoring data on the site and MIDAS-GTS NX software.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Conduct on-site monitoring of the deformation of the ground surface and confluent sewage tank culvert caused by the digging process of the rectangular pipe jacking,analyze the results and summarize the general law of deformation;(2)Use MIDAS-GTS NX software to simulate the rectangular pipe jacking construction stage,and compare the simulated deformation results with the actual monitoring results to verify the accuracy of the model;(3)Based on the accuracy of the model verification,analyze the influence of various parameters on deformation by changing the chamber earth pressure,grouting pressure,water pressure of the confluent sewage tank culvert and the distance between the jacking pipe and the confluent sewage tank culvert in the model,and selecting appropriate construction parameters;(4)Summarize and analyze the causes of deformation,deformation outcomes,influence factors and deformation laws caused by pipe jacking construction;(5)Based on the above research content,effective deformation control measures during the jacking process of large section rectangular pipe jacking are proposed.
