| Since the 13 th Five-Year Plan,Chinese economic development has been undergoing a profound transformation.Structural,institutional,and cyclical issues are intertwined.The downward pressure on the economy has continued to increase.In addition,the sudden changes in the international situation and the intensified market competition environment have brought construction enterprises huge challenges.At the same time,the timely preferential policies,the promotion from national strategies and the continuous progress of science and technology have also nurtured the upgrading and innovation of construction enterprises.Under this circumstance,construction companies must adjust their development strategies to meet the challenges and opportunities.This thesis takes China’s construction industry as its research background,and China Railway 14 Bureau Group Co.,Ltd.as its research object.It is mainly discussed four aspects: First,it describes the background of the research,and explains that under the background of multiple uncertainties,national economic development structural adjustments and the construction industry under reform.It is necessary for construction companies to formulate transformational development strategies,which underlines the significance of this study.Secondly,referring to a large number of relevant theoretical literatures on strategic management,the author sorts out the relevant theories of strategic management and transformation of construction enterprises,and provides a theoretical basis for the formulation of development strategies of construction enterprises.Using PEST and SWOT analysis tools,the author conducts comprehensive analysis of the external environment and internal conditions of China Railway 14 Bureau Group,along with comparing with industry benchmarks,to draw out the opportunities and challenges it faces;finally,the study formulate development strategies and corresponding supporting measures for China Railway 14 Bureau Group,integrating the theoretical foundation and the conclusions of internal,external and comparative analysis.Through the above research,this study concludes the overall development strategic thinking of China Railway 14 Bureau Group.In the next 5 to 10 years,China Railway 14 Bureau Group should follow the overall strategic thinking of "expert construction + whole industry chain".Pay attention to transformation and upgrading,develop new business and new formats.The China Railway 14 Bureau Group should become an enterprise with strong comprehensive strength,the best development quality,the best brand value and the highest employee happiness index.The supporting measures include: perfecting the corporate governance system;highlighting the leading position of management;strengthening reform and innovation efficiency;accelerating transformation and development;comprehensively improving management;promote corporate culture.In the meanwhile,the development strategy and corresponding supporting measures can also provide reference for the transformation and development of other construction companies. |
