In the current process design field,the design of process dimension parameters of shaft parts basically relies on the manual design of process designers with personal professional knowledge and experience,which increases the uncertainty of the design results and affects the design efficiency.In addition,the process dimension parameter design of complex parts usually requires the collaboration of process designers,and the CAX systems that the designers rely on are independent and heterogeneous,which limits the sharing and transmission of process dimension parameter design information.In order to ensure the sharing and transfer of process dimension parameter design information,further reduce the uncertainty of process dimension parameter design results and improve design efficiency,this paper combines the advantages of ontology technology in domain knowledge representation,reasoning and sharing,and introduces it into the research of generation method of process dimension parameters of shaft parts,and proposes an ontology-based automatic generation method of process dimension parameters of shaft parts.The main contents of this paper are as follows:The hierarchical representation model of process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts is constructed.According to the design process of process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts,a hierarchical representation model consisting of part structure layer,processing feature surface layer,design feature layer,feature mapping layer,processing plan layer,and process dimension parameter layer is constructed.And the feature information contained in each level of the model and the mapping relationship between each feature element are explained.The ontology representation model of process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts is constructed.Based on the hierarchical representation model of process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts,the classes and their hierarchical relationships,attributes and their hierarchical relationships and the limitations of the attributes in the field of process dimension parameter design are defined by using OWL language according to the sevenstep modeling principle.And the meta ontology model of process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts is constructed,so as to realize the ontology transformation of the hierarchical representation model of process dimension parameter generation.The inference rules of process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts are constructed.On the basis of the constructed ontology representation model of process dimension parameter generation,according to the process knowledge involved in the process dimension parameter design of shaft parts,the inference rules related to process dimension parameter generation are constructed by using SWRL language.Based on the ontology representation model and inference rules,the automatic generation process of process dimension parameters of shaft parts based on ontology is planned,and the feasibility of the proposed method is verified by an engineering example.A prototype system for process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts based on ontology is developed.The design process of the prototype system of process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts is planned,and the ontology knowledge base of process dimension parameter generation is constructed by using Protégé.According to the needs for automatic generation of process dimension parameters of shaft parts,a prototype system for process dimension parameter generation of shaft parts is developed by using tools such as Java and Eclipse IDE.
