| With the widespread popularity of shared bicycles,people are more and more familiar with the concept of "sharing economy".At the same time,shared cars have also unknowingly entered people’s lives.To a certain extent,car-sharing can improve travel efficiency,travel environment and other issues,more in line with people’s travel needs,and has huge potential to promote social and economic development.As the main body of the market,consumers are the leaders in the direction of market development.The development of the shared car market requires the participation of consumers.Therefore,studying the significant factors that influence consumers’ choice of shared cars from the perspective of travel choice behavior is of great significance to the development of shared cars.The purpose of this article is to study the significant influencing factors and mechanisms that affect the use of shared cars by travelers.Based on the urban comprehensive transportation background,public transportation,private cars,online car-hailing,and shared cars are selected as a set of options,and personal socio-economic attributes,travel-related attributes are used as selection attributes.Thirty different selection scenarios are generated using D-efficient experimental design.A questionnaire survey is conducted in Chengdu using a stratified random sampling method,and a total of 600 valid questionnaires are collected.A preliminary analysis of the results of the questionnaire was carried out by descriptive analysis.It was found that the proportion of men and women in the questionnaire sample was balanced.The number of people who have used shared cars accounted for 50% of the total sample.The main purpose of travelers using shared cars was shopping and entertainment,airport high-speed rail round trips As well as travel on official business,they are less satisfied with the use of shared cars.At the same time,through cross-analysis,it is found that men have a slightly higher probability of choosing car-sharing than women in choosing which mode of transportation to use;the proportion of students with car rental experience is higher than the proportion of students without car rental experience;in the car-free group,most they tend to use public transportation for travel,while car groups are more inclined to use shared cars and private cars;people with car rental experience are more inclined to choose shared cars for travel.The MNL model was established based on the traveler choice data,and the model was verified and calibrated.The attribute impact analysis,elasticity analysis and marginal effect analysis were carried out respectively,so as to analyze the significant influencing factors and mechanism of influence on the use of shared cars by travelers.The model calibration results show that the significant influencing factors mainly include car rental experience,occupation,education level,vehicle ownership,travel purpose,distance,and travel time.Through elasticity analysis,it is known that deposit,income,walking and waiting time,and expenses are all flexible in the choice of shared cars.Through the analysis of marginal effects,it is known that for shared cars,the most competitive modes of travel are private cars and public transportation. |
