With the rapid development of modern information technology,Internet of things and Internet of vehicles,Intelligent Connected Vehicle(ICV)have become a research hotspot.In order to alleviate the increasingly congested traffic situation,this paper studies the intersection control method based on ICV.First,based on the analysis of several scenarios of intersection conflicts and the macro and micro traffic flow characteristics of ICV,the paper proposes an unsignalized intersection control strategy through the determination of traffic priority and intersection speed control and other methods.Complete the allocation of dynamic gaps.Secondly,in an environment where ICV and manually driven vehicles are mixed,an intersection control strategy based on estimated time is proposed.This strategy uses the Kalman filter algorithm to predict the time when the manually driven vehicle will arrive at the intersection.Thereby allocating gap for manually driven vehicles.Finally,the paper uses cellular automata to simulate and analyze the intersection control method based on gap control and traditional signal control under different traffic flow conditions.The experimental results show that in the environment where the traffic flow of a single lane is less than 1000 veh/h,Compared with the traditional signal control,the intersection control method based on gap control reduces the average delay by 12.5s.The simulation was performed again under different penetration rates of intelligent networked vehicles,and the results showed that with the continuous increase of the share of ICV,the average delay of the intersection control method based on gap control continued to decrease.To sum up,in the intelligent connected environment,the intersection control method based on gap control is better than the traditional signal control,which is conducive to the future traffic control under the intelligent connected environment,relieves traffic congestion,and improves traffic efficiency.
