At present,our country is vigorously developing green and energy-saving buildings,actively promoting the transformation of building construction mode,and carrying out the pilot projects of light steel prefabricated building construction.The industrial production mode of light steel prefabricated buildings can precisely control the material performance and prefabricated construction mode can greatly shorten the construction time.Therefore,the industrial chain of light steel prefabricated buildings is bound to become a major development trend of the construction industry,which has great development perspective.However,the domestic light steel prefabricated housing system is lack of unified national norms and design standards.There are still many problems in the link of building design-production-construction-operation,such as the low level of the integration of the building,the lack of communication among different specialties and the insufficient precision of members which lead to difficulty in construction management.BIM technology plays an important role in improving the management of all links of light steel prefabricated buildings.It is found that there is almost no study on the combined application of light steel prefabricated buildings and BIM technology.This paper focuses on the following research work:(1)A literature review on BIM technology at home and abroad in the application of light steel prefabricated construction status is summarized.The BIM technical characteristics as well as the background of the studied engineering projects are introduced.All kinds of parametric family components of light-steel prefabricated building are created by BIM technology,and the library of light-steel prefabricated building family is established,which can be reused in the 3D modeling of light-steel prefabricated buildings.(2)Based on C# programming language and the development platform of Visual Studio,Revit software is re-developed while light steel structure module is created.The secondary development and design module is mainly consists of basic information,frame component library,connection component library and assembly node panel.In the process of project modeling,through the direct import and placement of each family library component in the module,the corresponding parameters can be modified according to specific engineering requirements to improve the modeling efficiency and strengthen the information management of the whole life cycle of light steel prefabricated buildings.(3)The application process design of BIM technology in the whole process of light steel prefabricated buildings is proposed.The approach aims to analyze the benefits brought by the introduction of BIM technology,and solve the problems faced by light steel prefabricated building projects in our country.During engineering design stage,BIM technology of parametric design and collision detection is used.In the production phase BIM technology strengthens deepening design of members and qualities statistics.In the construction stage BIM technology is applied for rationalization of site layout,and management of construction schedule & quality safety.In operation and maintenance phase,through the developed maintenance management plug-in,the maintenance status of the mechanical and electrical pipeline in later period of the building is recorded.(4)Combining BIM precision model with finite element analysis software,the simulation of light steel prefabricated buildings under fire condition is carried out,and the failure rule of building under fire is obtained.By observing the failure parts of steel members under high fire temperature and the deformation characteristics of steel frames during fire,various suggestions are provided for fire-resistant design methods of steel structures.
