At present,the development of electric vehicles in China has been energetically promoted,is in a period of rapid development.As the monitor of the power source of electric vehicle,the battery management system is mainly responsible for the detection and management of the power battery pack of electric vehicle,so as to ensure that the electric vehicle can obtain stable power output and safe driving process.In this paper,the working characteristics of lithium batteries are studied,and then the functions and implementation methods of battery management system and the topology of battery management system are discussed in detail.To provide theoretical support for the design of battery management system.Then according to the hot research problems in the battery management system —— the battery SoC estimation and battery equalization are studied and analyzed.Then,combined with the actual situation,the battery SoC estimation and battery equalization scheme are determined for the designed battery management system.In this paper,the function and structure of the battery management system are studied,and a high voltage series battery pack is taken as the management object,and the hardware design idea and software design process of the battery management system are analyzed emphatically.The hardware design process of battery management system first determines the overall structure and communication mode,and then according to the method of functional module division design,in the hardware design process,the main components selection and design ideas are analyzed.At the end of the hardware design,a battery device based on information acquisition board is introduced to solve the problem of complicated wiring in power battery.Combined with the designed hardware module,the software system is designed.The operation and software characteristics of the main components are analyzed in the design process.Finally,a high voltage battery pack is used as the control object to verify the function and performance of the battery management system through the battery management system test platform.The results show that the battery management system can effectively manage the power battery pack.Moreover,according to the relationship between battery SoC and open circuit voltage,a method of interpolation of open circuit voltage of power battery is proposed to obtain the SoC calibration voltage value,which can be used to verify the reliability of SoC algorithm.Using the SoC-Open Circuit Voltage curve,the reliability SoC the estimation algorithm of the battery management system is verified.The results show that the method can be used as the evaluation standard of the reliability of the SoC algorithm and has certain application and engineering value.
