With the development of urbanization in China,single column pier curved beam bridge is widely used in the construction of urban main traffic system and urban expressway network because it can adapt to various complex topography.However,the effect of "bending torsion coupling" is more prominent in the service stability of curved girder bridges.In recent years,many accidents of overturning or collapse of bridge structures caused by vehicle partial load have been reported at home and abroad.Therefore,it is urgent to analyze the stability of curved girder bridge from the perspective of solving the overturning accident of curved girder bridge.The characteristics of curved beam bridge under seismic load also need to be further studied in order to prevent structural instability caused by synergistic effect.In this paper,an existing single column pier curved beam bridge is taken as the engineering background:(1)This paper expounds the safety problems of single column pier curved beam bridge,analyzes the mechanical characteristics and calculation theory of single column pier curved beam bridge.This paper summarizes the relevant codes and standards at home and abroad,and gives two kinds of anti-overturning checking methods for curved girder bridges.(2)The beam element model and the solid model are established by using the finite element software respectively.The bearing reaction and anti-overturning stability coefficients of the bridge under the combination of dead load and three moving load conditions are calculated,and the anti-overturning stability of the bridge is analyzed.The results of the two models are compared.(3)In this paper,the response spectrum method is applied to the dynamic analysis of bridge structure,focusing on the influence of different earthquake input directions,and calculating the dynamic response of bridge structure caused by E1 earthquake.(4)Three seismic waves with different characteristics are selected as input loads to calculate the dynamic response of bridge structure under E2 earthquake.The bearing characteristics of curved beam bridge under specific earthquake are analyzed.By adjusting the pier height,the dynamic response of piers with different linear stiffness under horizontal earthquake is calculated,and the relationship between the change of pier linear stiffness and bridge seismic response is analyzed.Analysis shows that the single-pillar pier curved beam bridge meets the requirements of the specification in terms of stability against overturning and seismic performance.When analyzing the lateral anti-overturning stability of curved bridges,the analysis results of the solid model are more conservative than the beam element model.This paper can provide references for the analysis of lateral anti-overturning stability and seismic performance of similar single-pillar pier curved beam bridges.
