As the key core equipment of firefighting forces,fire trucks have been widely used in factories,airports,hospitals,high-rise residential buildings and many other areas for firefighting and rescue missions.The water jet system is an important part of the fire truck,and its performance is directly related to the efficiency of fire fighting and rescue.At present,the design of domestic fire trucks is in the transitional stage from imitation to independent research and development,and related design theories need to be further improved to improve the actual combat performance of my country’s independently developed fire trucks.Therefore,this article takes the water jet system of the elevating fire truck as the research object,and carries out the research on the three key technologies of the water jet system pressure loss assessment,power matching and water jet trajectory prediction,so as to optimize the pipeline design and improve the performance of the power system.Provide theoretical support for improving fire extinguishing efficiency.Evaluation of pressure loss of parts of water jet system for fire trucks.The pressure loss of water jet system of fire fighting vehicle is composed of three parts: the loss of resistance along the path,the loss of local resistance and the loss of potential energy caused by height change.The power of the water jet system of the fire truck is matched.The fire pump is divided into two parts for analysis.From the fire pump to the fire monitor,the power and speed of the fire pump are determined based on the system flow pressure curve,the fire pump suction condition and the performance curve,and then the pressure of the fire pump and the fire monitor is verified.Flow matching characteristics: From the engine to the fire pump,the power and speed of the engine are determined according to the external characteristic curve of the engine and the actual working conditions of the fire pump.Research on prediction model of water jet trajectory.A mathematical model of the water jet trajectory was established by using the mass point kinematics and Newton’s second law.The cosine and sine force balance correction coefficient equations were constructed in the ascending and descending segments respectively,and the cross-sectional area trace equation was constructed,which was verified by typical cases The effectiveness of the prediction model of water jet trajectory is discussed.Software development of water jet system for fire trucks.Based on the pressure loss evaluation of the water jet system of the fire truck,the power matching scheme and the water jet trajectory prediction model,the software of the water jet system of the fire truck was developed using VB language.Experimental study on pressure loss of water jet system of fire truck.A water jet pressure loss experiment device was built using equipment such as water tank fire trucks and elevating fire trucks to test the pressure values of key nodes in the water jet system of fire trucks at different flow rates and postures.The comparison between the experimental test value and the software calculation value verifies the accuracy of the water jet system pressure loss evaluation method and software.
