With the development of society, people’s requirements for thermal comfort of the indoor environment are constantly improving.More and more researchers have begun to pay attention to the application of radiation heating and cooling, personal environmental regulation and other technologies. At present, most of the research on human thermal comfort focuses on the office environment, while the research on human thermal comfort in the sleeping environment is less.In this paper, the application and thermal comfort of personal comfort system(R-PCS)with capillary network radiant roof in sleeping space were experimentally studied. In this paper, the heat transfer performance of R-PCS system was studied without human participation in the analysis. Then, subjects were recruited to conduct experimental tests on thermal comfort under different water supply conditions, and objective evaluation indexes and subjective questionnaires were used to analyze and evaluate the sleep thermal environment created by R-PCS.The main conclusions are as follows.(1)During the starting and stopping process of the capillary mats radiant roof, the temperature changes in the test space conform to the exponential law.The time required to reach a steady state under different working conditions is analyzed. The results show that the R-PCS system has certain thermal inertia, and needs to be preheated about 2hours in advance.(2)The water supply flow rate has a certain influence on the time required for the R-PCS system to reach the stable state, and has little influence on the steady-state heat transfer performance of the R-PCS system. On the other hand, the water supply temperature has a great influence on the steady-state heat transfer performance of the R-PCS system. The radiation heat transfer from the radiant roof accounts for 76-78% of the total heat transfer, which decreases slightly with the increase of water supply temperature.(3)The temperature of water supply has a great influence on the thermal comfort of the human body in the sleeping area. With the increase of the temperature of water supply, the thermal comfort of the upper and lower bed is significantly improved. When the temperature of water supply exceeds 38℃,the upper and lower zone reach the thermal environment of grade A and grade C after stability,respectively.(4)When the water supply temperature is 40℃,the subjective thermal response of the human body under R-PCS system is investigated. It is found that PMV-PPD index can be applied to the evaluation of sleep thermal environment under the lying state of the human body under the near-thermal-neutral environment created by the experiment. To sum up,in the case of heating in winter, the R-PCS system with radiation heat transfer as the main heat transfer mode can meet the thermal comfort requirements of the human body for sleeping space. |
