Developing new energy vehicles is the only way for China to move from a big automobile country to a powerful automobile country.Since 2015,China ’ s new energy vehicle production and sales ranked first in the world for five consecutive years.The rapid development of new energy vehicles requires more and more new energy vehicle maintenance technical personnel.In order to solve the problems of insufficient equipment and difficulty in fault setting in the current VCU fault maintenance teaching of electric vehicles,this paper takes the VCU of Geely Emgrand EV300 electric vehicle as the research carrier to design and develop the VCU fault simulation device of electric vehicles.The main contents are as follows :Firstly,the overall design scheme of VCU fault simulation device is formulated.After investigation,the overall functional requirements of VCU fault simulation device are clarified.Combined with the line fault characteristics of VCU,the design requirements of each fault point are analyzed.Finally,the design and development scheme of the fault simulation device is formulated.Then complete the VCU fault simulation device hardware design and production.The hardware design is carried out around the ’ one mother and many children ’ design scheme.The peripheral circuit design of the single chip microcomputer control system,the fault setting circuit design of the real vehicle motherboard,the electrical signal reduction and fault simulation circuit design of the sub-board,and the optimization design of the printed circuit board(PCB)production process are completed,and the hardware processing is completed.Secondly,the software and algorithm design of VCU fault simulation device are completed.The overall scheme of software design is formulated.The KEIL engineering software is used to complete the initialization configuration design of each functional module,the input and display design of fault setting,the logic design of fault setting control,the communication protocol design of fault setting motherboard and fault simulation sub-board,and the program and algorithm design of fault signal simulation reduction.The design functions of real vehicle fault setting,fault setting state of motherboard and sub-board and synchronization of electrical parameters are realized.Finally,the technical performance and user experience function of the device are comprehensively tested and evaluated by means of measurement data comparison,fault simulation test and user experience investigation.The test results show that the VCU fault setting motherboard can effectively realize the fault setting of line breaking,short circuit,virtual connection and so on.Multiple fault simulation sub-boards can synchronously simulate the fault state of the original vehicle and the electrical parameters of the line,meet the needs of setting faults on a vehicle and multi-person can synchronously carry out fault diagnosis training.Finally,the design goal of ’ multi-purpose one vehicle and multi-person synchronous training ’ is realized,and the problem of insufficient teaching equipment of new energy vehicles is solved.
