Modern interconnected power system has formed a wide-area,large-scale interconnected operation state.With the integration of new energy sources,especially wind power,the frequency stability of power system is further disturbed.The interconnected power system needs to be able to absorb the impact of wind power while bearing load disturbance,which brings some difficulties to the frequency control of power system.Because the modern power system has formed a large interconnected operation state,a large frequency disturbance in an area must lead to the frequency fluctuation of the interconnected power grid.Therefore,load frequency control of interconnected power system with wind power and other new energy is one of the hot spots of current research.The parameter setting of PID controller of traditional load frequency control is the approximate value after a lot of debugging,which can not adapt to the frequent disturbance of power system after the new energy grid connected.The frequency disturbance fluctuates greatly,and then the power of tie line may exceed the rated value,resulting in the frequency instability of the whole interconnected power system.Based on this research background,this paper proposes a load frequency control method based on Improved Gray Wolf algorithm for hydro thermal multi area interconnected power system.This paper first introduces the power system frequency control mechanism and the status quo of power system frequency control research,as well as the mathematical model of load frequency control,and builds a single area hydro thermal load frequency control model.Aiming at the traditional load frequency control mode can not meet the frequency requirements of modern interconnected power system,this paper proposes the use of intelligent algorithm to optimize the load frequency controller.Aiming at the problem that gray wolf algorithm is easy to fall into local optimum in the later stage,an improved hybrid Gray Wolf algorithm is proposed,and the test function is used to prove that the hybrid Gray Wolf algorithm has better convergence.The hybrid Gray Wolf algorithm is applied to the optimization of load frequency controller.The simulation results show that the controller can better track the change of load disturbance,make the frequency and tie line deviation of interconnected power system smaller,and make the system show good dynamic performanceOn this basis,the two area hydro thermal interconnected power system is extended to five area hydro thermal interconnected power system.At the same time,aiming at the weight distribution problem of Gray Wolf algorithm,a gray wolf optimization algorithm with dynamic weight is proposed to optimize the load frequency controller,and wind power is added to the load frequency control as a disturbance.The simulation results show that the gray wolf optimization algorithm with dynamic weight is the best This algorithm can control the frequency fluctuation in a smaller range and improve the frequency stability of power system. |
