In recent years,new energy sources represented by photovoltaics have risen rapidly due to their advantages of environmental protection,safety,reliability,flexibility and convenience,and their installed capacity has gradually expanded.However,photovoltaic output has the shortcomings of randomness,intermittentness,and mismatch with load timing.After large-scale photovoltaic grid connection,the imbalance of power supply and demand has intensified,which has a negative impact on voltage quality and grid stability.This paper uses the advantages of the energy storage system’s ‘low storage and high discharge’ and four-quadrant operation to realize the temporal and spatial translation of energy,and improve energy utilization and system voltage quality.The installation capacity and location of the energy storage system directly affect its performance,so the optimization configuration of the energy storage system has been studied.This article firstly introduces the development,application status and optimal configuration research status of energy storage systems,analyzes the characteristics of photovoltaic power generation and energy storage systems,and selects mature technology and excellent performance lithium-ion batteries as energy storage media for research.Take a simple system model as an example to analyze the impact of energy storage system access on the voltage deviation and active power loss of the distribution network.Establishing a multi-objective two-layer mathematical model for optimal configuration of energy storage systems.The lower level takes the capacity,power and installation location of the single energy storage system as decision variables,and takes the voltage deviation and active power loss as the optimization goals.The threshold method and the analytic hierarchy process are introduced to transform the multiobjective problem into a single-objective problem.In view of the lack of guidance on the inertia weight of the particle swarm optimization and the rapid loss of population diversity,the improved particle swarm optimization is used to propose an energy storage system that comprehensively considers construction cost,abandonment rate,voltage quality and active power loss optimize the configuration method.The IEEE33-node system and the power grid in a certain area of Jiangsu are used for analysis.The results show that the optimized configuration method of the energy storage system proposed in this paper can improve the comprehensive benefits of the energy storage system,reduce the light abandonment rate,stabilize the voltage fluctuation,the configuration plan is more accurate,and the performance is better.
