Waterfront Landscape Design Of Dongliao River In Liaoyuan City Based On The Concept Of "Sponge City"

With the rapid start of the 145 Plan,the construction of ecological civilization and the construction of the national land spatial planning system in China have entered a critical stage.Urban waterfront is the key area of urban construction.Rivers in cities are sensitive areas for the coupling of ecology and hydrology.Waterfront landscape planning and design is one of the most important and unique landscapes to maintain the urban development.The traditional waterfront landscape design mainly focuses on the requirements of flood control and water conservancy functions.The design between landscapes lacks coordination,and does not fully play its advantages of waterfront.The deterioration of water ecological environment in waterfront space can no longer meet the needs of current modern urban construction.Therefore,it is very important to study how to apply the concept of "sponge city" to the design of urban waterfront landscape,and to effectively bring into play the functions of ecology,aesthetics,humanities,recreation of urban waterfront landscape,so as to achieve the recycling and sustainable development of water resources.This paper takes the planning and design of the waterfront landscape of the East Liao River in Liaoyuan City as the research object.Firstly,it combs the concept of "sponge city",the theoretical basis,technical methods and case studies of the waterfront landscape design at home and abroad,builds the necessity,design principles and coupling mechanism of the integration of the concept of "sponge city" with the waterfront landscape design,and puts forward the waterfront landscape design strategy based on the concept of "sponge city".Secondly,the author divides the Dongliao River waterfront landscape design area in Liaoyuan into first,second and key areas for transformation,and investigates and analyses the current situation,digging out the current situation of waterfront landscape in different areas.And strictly according to the upper planning,the function of its reach is positioned,and the Liaoyuan spiritual culture is injected into it,with the design concept of "the township of Sika deer,the corridor of ecology".Focusing on the concept of sponge city such as seepage,stagnation,water storage and water purification,the landscape structure layout of "one axis,three nodes,seven districts" is constructed in one stage,four zones are planned in the second stage,and the river bank landscape section planning,planting design and lighting design are carried out in different functional zones.At the same time,specific transformation strategies are put forward for the important nodes in the key renovation areas.This paper explores the planning and design of waterfront landscape of the East Liao River under the guidance of the concept of sponge city,with the aim of improving the ecological environment of the East Liao River region and realizing the multi-functional values of ecology,recreation,landscape and human culture in the East Liao River region,so as to enable the citizens of Liaoyuan to "enjoy sponge life" at the same time.To provide reasonable suggestions for solving the ecological environment problems in such typical urban waterfront areas.
