| Friction couplings are widely used in machine transmission in various fields.They are indispensable shafting machine parts.They are suitable for pressures between 1-4 MPa and have large size structures.They cannot meet high pressure and low speed conditions.The friction coupling has suffered serious friction and wear before it reaches the expected service life,especially the wear of the friction plate.Aiming at the problem of serious friction plate wear in small friction couplings with compact structure,low operating speed and high load capacity in metallurgical equipment,this paper selects three different wear-resistant steels38 CrMoAl,42 CrMo,and 65 Mn to form a pair of friction pairs,and perform different quenching treatments on these three materials to enable them to withstand greater pressure.Therefore,the friction and wear behaviors between different pairs and friction pairs are studied,and a simplified design of the friction safety coupling is carried out to verify the actual working conditions.Through scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),super depth of field(DM)and EDS and other analytical methods,the influence of different friction pairs on the wear resistance is studied.The main research contents are as follows:(1)First,conduct heat treatment experiments on 38 CrMoAl,42 CrMo,and65 Mn to make the hardness of these three materials reach the range of 55-60 HRC.The maximum tensile strength of 65 Mn before heat treatment is about 839 MPa,After 38 CrMoAl is kept at 950℃ for 25 min,the maximum elongation after fracture is 30.39%,and the plastic toughness is the best.(2)In a single sliding friction and wear experiment,the matrix of the mating friction pair is selected as the hot-rolled 65 Mn,which forms three mating friction pairs with the heat-treated 38 CrMoAl,42 CrMo,and 65 Mn respectively.The paired friction and wear tests are carried out to analyze the differences under the same load.Paired friction and wear conditions.Under the condition of low load60N(32MPa),the 65Mn-65 Mn pair has the best wear resistance and the least total wear weight;when the high load is 140N(75MPa),42 CrMo-65 Mn is the optimal pair,and the service life of the equipment is increased by more than ten times.(3)Analysis of the friction and wear results of each pair under different loads,and found that the 42 CrMo-65 Mn pair is the most sensitive to load.As the load increases,the wear loss of the 42 CrMo-65 Mn pair increases first and then decreases.The 38 CrMoAl-65 Mn pair,65Mn-65 Mn paired wear loss increases with the increase of load to varying degrees.(4)The friction safety coupling experiment device is designed to carry out the paired friction and wear experiment.The 65Mn-65 Mn pairing has the least quality loss under any working conditions and shows good wear resistance,which is the optimal pairing.The 38 CrMoAl-65 Mn pair has the worst wear resistance,and the 42 CrMo-65 Mn pair has the middle wear resistance,which is consistent with the results in the pin-disc friction and wear low load. |
