In order to achieve 20% of my country’s non-fossil energy consumption in 2025,new energy generation such as wind power and photovoltaics will be ushered in a new peak during the 14 th Five-Year Plan based on the rapid development of the 13 th Five-Year Plan.Rapid and vigorous development is the mission of the times driven by national policies.Therefore,solving a series of problems caused by a large number of new energy grid connections is a research topic of very practical value.In order to solve the impact of distributed energy power generation on the power system,this article has conducted an in-depth study on the optimization of the coordination and cooperation between pumped storage power plants and new energy power generation.The pumped storage power station is used as a regulating tool between the new energy power station and the power system to achieve peak shaving and valley filling,solve the impact of the uncertainty of new energy power generation on the power system,and also improve the operating environment of the power system.This paper studies the working principle and output characteristics of wind and solar,expounds the working principle and operation mode of the pumped storage power station based on wind and solar complementary,with the optimization goal of maximizing the utilization of wind and solar power generation resources and reasonably controlling the dispatch and distribution of surplus electricity.Considering the system power balance,the inclusiveness of grid operation,grid energy transmission limitation,pumped storage power plant unit constraints and other constraints,establish a mathematical model for the joint operation system of pumped storage power station and wind and solar power generation;use the spotted hyena algorithm to solve the established joint Operating the mathematical model of the system,it is concluded that the coordination and cooperation of pumped storage power stations and wind and solar power generation can achieve the stability of grid output power when a large number of new energy sources are connected to the grid.Taking a simplified model of the actual power grid in a certain area of our country,adding a certain proportion of new energy power generation as a verification example,verifying the built model and the applied algorithm,the established simulation model results show that the pumped storage power station is added to the wind and solar system grid-connected system Later,it can achieve the effect of peak-shaving and valley-filling on the power system,improve energy utilization,and also verify the superiority of the spotted hyena algorithm in solving complex models.
