In recent years, under the conditions of my country’s vigorous promotion of infrastructure construction, the development of the geotechnical engineering industry has become more rapid. Therefore,as a very important part of the civil engineering industry, bridge engineering is constantly developing in the direction of complexity and refinement in order to keep up with the pace of the times. This undoubtedly places higher requirements on the design and construction of bridges. If two-dimensional drawings are still used for bridge design, there will be situations such as information isolation, low management efficiency, and many location conflicts. For this reason, the emergence of building information models has played a key role in changing this status quo.BIM technology is based on a three-dimensional information model and highly integrates all kinds of information in components. It has many advantages such as high degree of visualization, strong collaboration ability, and convenient information management. This paper takes the Peisen Liujiang Bridge Project as the engineering background, uses multiple BIM platform software to design and apply the BIM model, and successfully researches the model creation method and technical application value of the BIM technology in the low-tower cable-stayed bridge, thereby improving The level of industrialization, informatization and intelligent construction of bridge engineering. The main research results of this paper include the following aspects:(1)Summarize the basic concepts, development status and application characteristics of BIM technology, and select the modeling software suitable for this project based on the advantages and disadvantages and penetration rate of multiple BIM core modeling software in the domestic market.Study the application characteristics of BIM technology in different stages of bridge engineering, and establish the application process framework of the corresponding stage.(2)Aiming at the problems of excessive repetitive operations and difficulty in creating special-shaped components when creating BIM models, use Dynamo software to explore parametric modeling and visual programming methods, and focus on analyzing the advantages and importance of parametric modeling, through Design Script The two methods of coding and visual programming created the pier model of this project, and further analyzed the feasibility and practicality of Dynamo visual programming modeling.(3)Research the design process and method of the BIM model of the Peisen Liujiang Bridge, and complete the fast modeling method and modeling process of the low-tower cablestayed bridge, which mainly includes the drawing of the 3D terrain model, the design of the 3D route of the bridge,The design of the full-bridge BIM refined model and the construction of the three-dimensional steel bar model, and the creation of a modular unit library for bridge engineering, fulfill the requirements of refined modeling.(4)Explore the application of BIM technology in the construction phase of the Peisen Liujiang Bridge, including the selection and optimization of pile foundation construction plans, construction site layout, collision detection analysis, engineering material consumption statistics,4D construction progress simulation, and digital information platform,Thus verifying the application value of BIM technology in low-tower cable-stayed bridges, ensuring the efficient, stable and safe progress of the project, and providing a reference for other bridge projects.
