The most important part of the power industry is all kinds of electrical equipment.Their operating status is related to the safe and reliable operation of various power stations and even the entire power industry.If the power grid and equipment fail,it will inevitably cause huge losses.According to incomplete statistics,various electrical equipment failures in power transmission and transformation equipment are extremely closely related to their heat generation,especially unplanned outages of the power grid caused by equipment heat generation.Using infrared temperature measurement technology can accurately obtain the status information of the operating equipment,and it has the advantages of wide monitoring range,intuitive image,high reliability,and convenient use.However,the existing infrared online monitoring devices are large in size and high in power consumption.Infrared image recognition relies on manual recognition or back-end systems,resulting in excessive transmission of information,poor analysis results,and unsatisfactory actual utilization effects.Therefore,it is very important to find a new way to carry out infrared monitoring of key parts of power transmission and transformation equipment.The most important part of the power industry is all kinds of electrical equipment.Their operatin g status is related to the safe and reliable operation of various power stations and even the entire power industry.If the power grid and equipment fail,it will inevitably cause huge losses.According to incomplete statistics,various electrical equipment failures in power transmission and transformation equipment are extremely closely related to their heat generation,especially unplanned outages of the power grid caused by equipment heat generation.Using infrared temperature measurement technology can accurately obtain the status information of the operating equipment,and it has the advantages of wide monitoring range,intuitive image,high reliability,and convenient use.However,the existing infrared online monitoring devices are large in size and high in power consumption.Infrared image recognition relies on manual recognition or back-end systems,resulting in excessive transmission of information,poor analysis results,and unsatisfactory actual utilization effects.Therefore,it is very important to find a new way to carry out infrared monitoring of key parts of power transmission and transformation equipment.This article uses the characteristics of the Cambrian dedicated chip for infrared signal processing made in China to develop a low-cost,low-power,miniaturized,portable infrared imager and online monitoring system.First of all,the use of the latest domestic chip technology,the use of domestically produced Cambrian infrared signal processing chips to replace the original technical solutions of imported FPGA or general-purpose DSP chips.Combine the infrared camera with embedded artificial intelligence(AI)technology,integrate an AI acceleration module inside the infrared camera,perform local AI analysis on infrared thermal imaging pictures,and pass the analysis results of the device,infrared pictures and artificial intelligence algorithm model upgrades.4G or 5G wireless channel implementation.At the same time,an APP software is developed.The infrared imager is connected to a smart phone or inspection PDA through a Type-C or USB interface,and the infrared imaging results are analyzed and displayed by running a special APP software in the smart phone or inspection PDA.Generate analysis results including geographic location information,equipment information,etc.,and upload them to the data center.In the end,the device developed in this article obtained the relevant infrared spectrum through actual measurement in the substation,and compared it with the existing infrared temperature measurement equipment.The newly developed device was portable and small in size,the processor algorithm became faster,and no image processing jams occurred.Phenomenon,the obtained maps can be automatically numbered and archived.When the temperature is too high,it can also be sent to the operation and maintenance personnel through the early warning,which has a certain forward-looking and practicality.
