My country has a long history and a splendid culture.Five thousand years of civilization has left many earthen sites.However,due to long-term natural damage and man-made destruction during dynasty changes,most earthen sites have varying degrees of disease.The protection and restoration of earthen ruins is not only an affirmation of the ancient history of our country,but also plays a vital role in the inheritance and promotion of Chinese culture.As the main component of the earthen ruins,glutinous rice pulp has an important influence on the strength of the earthen ruins.In order to study the influence of glutinous rice syrup on the unsaturated characteristics of artificially prepared ruins,this paper conducted soil-water characteristic tests,permeability tests,confined compression tests and unsaturated triaxial tests.The specific research work and conclusions are as follows:Using an unsaturated soil consolidation instrument,the artificially prepared site soils with different mass ratios of soil to glutinous rice slurry and dry density were tested for suction under stress.The Van Genuchten model was used to fit the soil-water characteristic curve,revealing the soil and The influence of glutinous rice pulp mass ratio and dry density on its soil-water characteristic curve.Then based on the measured soil-water characteristic curve and saturated seepage coefficient,the Childs&Collis.George model is used to predict the unsaturated seepage coefficient of the unsaturated artificially prepared site soil,and the influence ot the mass ratio and dry density of the soil and glutinous rice pulp on the artificially prepared site soil’s unsaturated seepage is discussed.The influence law of the coefficient,and reveals the variation law of the unsaturated seepage coefficient of the artificially prepared site soil with the mass ratio and dry density of the soil to glutinous rice slurry.The confined compression test to control the suction was carried out with an unsaturated soil consolidation instrument,revealing that the compression characteristics of the unsaturated artificially prepared site soil vary with the mass ratio of soil to glutinous rice slurry,dry density and density of the soil to glutinous rice slurry.The confined compression test to control the suction was carried out with an unsaturated soil consolidation instrument,revealing that the compression characteristics of the unsaturated artificially prepared site soil vary with the mass ratio of soil to glutinous rice slurry,dry density and suction.The isotropic compression test and the triaxial shear test to control the suction force are carried out by the unsaturated soil triaxial instrument,and the three factors of the mass ratio of soil to glutinous rice slurry,the suction force and the dry density are analyzed for the isotropic compression characteristics of the unsaturated artificially prepared site soil.The influence of stress-strain relationship,p-q critical failure state line,cohesion and internal friction angle,etc.,and found that the p-q curve of artificially prepared site soil under different conditions can be normalized;it provides values for the protection and restoration of earthen sites Calculation basis and theoretical support.Sorting out the data obtained from the unsaturated triaxial shear test and calculating the parameters of the Duncan-Chang model,revealing the changes of the parameters of the Duncan-Chang model with the mass ratio of soil to glutinous rice pulp,suction and dry density.
