With the continuous expansion of global wind power development and the gradual maturity of my country’s wind power technology,the power generation capacity of wind turbines is increasing,and the installation scale of wind farms has reached dozens or even hundreds of units.Although my country’s wind power industry is developing very rapidly,the cost of power generation is relatively high.Therefore,it is urgent to explore a path that can reduce the cost of wind power to promote better and faster development of the wind power industry.The micro-site selection technology of wind farms,as a preliminary project of wind power construction projects,plays a decisive role in the economic benefits of wind farms.Therefore,this article conducts in-depth research from the perspectives of the economic cost of wind power generation and the layout and planning of wind farms to promote the development of my country’s wind power industry.First of all,from the perspective of the whole life cycle,it helps to reduce costs and increase efficiency,study the composition of wind power costs,and establish a wind farm life cycle cost model.Aiming at the problem that the existing Levelized Cost Of Cost(LCOE)calculation model is not suitable for the economic evaluation of wind power projects in China,an improved LCOE analysis and calculation model is proposed.Secondly,on the basis of aerodynamics,the basic knowledge of wind resources is introduced,and the Jensen wake model is derived.On the basis of system reliability theory,the unit components of wind turbines are analyzed by fault tree,and the availability model of wind turbines is established.Combining the wake model with the wind turbine availability model effectively improves the accuracy of the wind farm’s actual power generation calculation model.Thirdly,the optimization method of micro-site selection technology for wind farms is studied,considering the wake effects between wind turbines,the power generation of wind farms and the life cycle cost of wind power projects,an improved genetic algorithm is proposed for wind farms.Optimized design of the unit arrangement scheme.Taking an offshore wind farm as an example,the proposed optimization method was verified.The results show that the optimized arrangement significantly increases the power generation of the wind farm,which further verifies the feasibility and superiority of the algorithm.Finally,on the basis of the above research,a wind farm microsite selection system software was developed.The software can realize wind resource analysis through basic wind statistics imported by users,and automatically generate optimized wind farm layout plans.In addition,the software It also includes the economic evaluation function of wind power projects,and evaluates the economics of wind farms by calculating LCOE.In this way,we can guide the wind farm layout work for micro-site selection of wind farms,so as to maximize the economic benefits of wind farms.
