Beam member is an important structural element,which has been widely used in automobile manufacturing,civil engineering,aerospace and other fields.In engineering practice,the beam component will produce large deformation under the action of external load,so it needs to use the nonlinear analysis method.Nonlinear beam structure has always been the subject of extensive research in engineering and academic circles.In this paper,the simulation algorithm of large-deformation beam has been studied,and an isogeometric analysis algorithm based on Von-Karman large-deformation beam theory is proposed.The main research contents of this paper are listed as follows:(1)In this paper,an isogeometric analysis algorithm for large-deformed beam is proposed to construct the isogeometric beam equations without rotational degrees of freedom.Based on the theory of Euler beams and Von-Karman hypothesis of large deformation,geometric large deformation equations of 2D and 3D frame beams are derived.The spline function is used to accurately describe the geometrical configuration of the beam structure,which is suitable for the simulation analysis of the curved beam structure.At the same time,the pre-processing process of mesh generation in the traditional finite element analysis is avoided,and the calculation accuracy is improved.(2)Based on the updated Lagrange increment method,the solution scheme of nonlinear beam structure is constructed.In the process of structural deformation,the coordinate system transformation algorithm and the iterative updating algorithm of displacement,stress and strain under the spline geometric description are constructed based on the co-rotation coordinate system,which effectively improves the convergence speed of the nonlinear solution.(3)The software module of large-deformation beam with independent intellectual property rights has been programmed,and the effectiveness of the module has been verified.The results of the proposed algorithm are compared with those of commercial finite element simulation software such as ABAQUS to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.The proposed beam element based on isogeometric analysis can obtain results with the same precision as the traditional finite element analysis,using fewer degrees of freedom.In this paper,a simulation algorithm of large deformation beam structure based on isogeometric analysis is presented,and the corresponding software module is programmed.The algorithm presented in this paper can effectively solve the problem of simulation of largedeformation beam structures and provides a simulation tool with independent intellectual property rights for beam structure simulation.
