Triboelectric nano generator is a new way of energy utilization,which uses the principle of triboelectric electrification to realize the conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy.With its simple structure,low cost and good low-frequency output performance,it has been widely studied in recent years,and has been widely used in intelligent wearable devices,chemistry,military,medicine and other aspects.In this paper,a thermal electric conversion device is designed and fabricated by combining the Leidenfrost frost phenomenon of elastic medium with the vertical contact-separation triboelectric nano generator.(Hydrogel piston powered triboelectric nano generator,HP-TENG).After converting the steam work to the mechanical energy of the elastic hydrogel ball,the device transfers some kinetic energy to the triboelectric nano generator to realize the contact and separation movement between electrodes,and ultimately realize the conversion from heat energy to electric energy.The main contents of this paper are as follows:In this study,according to the motion characteristics and working environment of Leidenfrost frost phenomenon of elastic materials,a triboelectric nano generator driven by Leidenfrost frost phenomenon of elastic materials and the corresponding experimental platform were designed and fabricated.Three kinds of hydrogel spheres with different hardness were synthesized by inverse suspension polymerization according to the experimental requirements,and a series of characterization work were carried out.Through the experiment of the hardness,temperature,water content and other factors in the process of its movement,it is found that the larger water content,moderate hardness and higher temperature can improve the bouncing impact force of the ball under the premise of the same impact distance The experimental results show that the maximum output of the average voltage,average current and average charge can reach 20.3V and 0.92μA and 5.82 n Q.When the external load is 200MΩ,the maximum output power is 278.48 μW By comparing the steam power and output power,the working efficiency of HP-TENG is 3.2%.
