With the rapid development of the times,consumers have higher and higher aesthetic requirements for the appearance of the car.The study found that when consumers buy car products,they do not simply buy a simple walking tool,but more to achieve spiritual satisfaction.Automobile appearance design is an important means for automobile enterprises to complete product upgrading.In order to make their own automobile products better face the fierce market competition,automobile enterprises of different brands all increase the investment in the research and development of automobile appearance design.Car styling design has become the key to the success of new models in the commercial market.Well designed appearance often leaves a deep impression on consumers,which greatly improves the market success rate of the car.However,the theory and method of automobile styling design is still relatively scarce,which is an urgent problem to be solved.The front face is an important part of transferring brand characteristics and design concepts,and also an important embodiment of brand differentiation.The front face is the visual center for consumers to observe the car.Only when the modeling elements of the front face are closely linked into a whole,corresponding to people’s visual perception habits,can the front face modeling be more easily recognized by users,and make users have stable and pleasant psychological feelings.This paper takes Gestalt Psychology as the theoretical basis,and GEELY brand sedan front face as the research object.Firstly,it expounds the research background,the current situation,purpose,significance,innovation point,method and content of the paper,and discusses the basic theory of Gestalt Psychology and related concepts of sedan front face design.Secondly,the paper introduces the related contents of GEELY brand sedan,and analyzes the figure and background of the front face of GEELY brand sedan,the Gestalt analysis of local modeling and the comprehensive analysis of Gestalt,sums up the Gestalt law of the front face of GEELY brand sedan.At the same time,through the analysis of the perceptual image positioning of the front face of GEELY brand sedan,the perceptual adjectives of the front face modeling of GEELY brand sedan are obtained.By using the method of class category analysis,the relationship between the design objectives,perceptual image,design features and modeling elements is clarified,and the origin of the front face shape of GEELY brand sedan is determined,so as to integrate the perceptual into the front face modeling design of GEELY brand sedan imagery,meeting the emotional needs of users,and combing the Gestalt Psychology image into the front face design process.Finally,taking GEELY brand Emgrand sedan as the object of design practice,through the analysis of the front face modeling Gestalt design,image integration design,design sketch,two-dimensional design renderings and three-dimensional design digital model,complete the design scheme and make analysis and evaluation on the scheme to verify the rationality of this paper.The research methods and research results of this paper hope to provide some reference for the design of the front face of domestic independent brand sedan,and have some inspiration for future scholars to study the front face of sedan.
