Design Of Memory Retention Based On Elderly Amnesia Group

With the continuous improvement of my country’s medical technology and social welfare,the average life expectancy of the people has also been greatly improved.But from another perspective,the increase in the elderly population has also accelerated the arrival of an aging society in my country.Nowadays,all countries attach great importance to the problems brought about by an aging society,and invest a lot of financial and material resources to help the elderly to spend their twilight years.Compared with when they were young,the physical functions of the elderly have declined significantly.In addition,the children live separately from the elderly after they set up a family,resulting in the lack of necessary care for the elderly,and thus causing mental health problems for some elderly people.Common mental problems in the elderly include depression,autism and amnesia,among which 44 million elderly people suffer from amnesia in my country.In order to help elderly patients with amnesia alleviate the inconvenience caused by illness and pain,retain the fleeting moment of memory.This research firstly starts from the elderly group,deeply researches the basic characteristics of the group in terms of visual cognition and memory cognition,and explores the influence of this characteristic on the design of human-machine interface.Secondly,based on the above theoretical research,it analyzes the basic cognitive characteristics of amnesia patients in the elderly population,and draws on the product design of foreign designers for elderly amnesia patients,and summarizes the structure,framework and performance aspects that are suitable for this problem.The overall design criteria of the group.Finally,the design principles are applied to the memory retention design practice of elderly amnesia patients,and operable mobile products are produced,and the design practice is tested for usability and satisfaction,and the target users’ evaluation of the design practice is obtained.The survey shows that most elderly patients with amnesia are satisfied with the design results of this study and are willing to support and use them.This can prove the feasibility of the memory retention design for elderly amnesia patients proposed in this study.
