Vehicle Ad-Hoc Network(Internet of Vehicles)play an important role in intelligent transportation, which can reduce the risk of driver accidents and provide a variety of facilities and services. In recent years, security and privacy have been the focus of research solutions for the Internet of Vehicles. However, due to the open nature of in-vehicle terminal communication, the information broadcast by the vehicle is vulnerable to attacks from various third parties. The security and privacy of the in-vehicle network solution are the most urgent problems to be solved. At present, there are still many privacy and security issues in the in-vehicle network solution. In response to these problems, this article will study the authentication scheme in the in-vehicle network, and then propose two new improvements. The main research work is as follows:(1)This paper proposes an anonymous authentication scheme based on smart cards in the Internet of Vehicles.First, the solution protects user privacy by encrypting the user’s identity information, thereby improving the practicability and reliability of the Internet of Vehicles.Secondly, this scheme uses the one-way advantage of the Hash function to achieve anonymous authentication of messages. Then, the scheme realizes mutual authentication between nodes(vehicles, roadside units)by designing and checking the validity of the timestamp. Finally, the safety analysis and efficiency comparison of the scheme are carried out.At the same time, the scheme adopts a certificateless authentication method and uses simple XOR operation, which greatly reduces the storage burden and communication overhead of the system.(2)This paper proposes an identity-based privacy protection authentication scheme in the Internet of Vehicles.First, the new scheme proposed in this paper does not use bilinear pairing operations, and the proposed scheme has the function of message batch verification, which further improves the performance of the scheme.Secondly,a security analysis is carried out to prove the safety requirements of the vehicle network of the proposed scheme. Finally, this paper compares and analyzes the calculation and communication costs of the scheme, and concludes that the proposed new scheme has better performance than the previously proposed Internet of Vehicles scheme.
