Research On Balance Management Optimization Of Distribution Cabinet Production Line For VERTIV Jiangmen Branch

With the increasingly fierce market competition and the increasing international trade friction in recent years,each enterprise can’t wait to enhance its competitiveness.Having a good production system is one of the important power to enhance the competitiveness.As the production system of manufacturing enterprises,production efficiency is one of the important competitiveness indicators.However,the production line balance is the most important factor that directly affects the efficiency of production line.The imbalance of production line will cause excessive waste,such as WIP backlog,low equipment utilization,waste of human resources on production line and so on.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the balance of production line to improve the efficiency of production line.Based on the analysis of the distribution cabinet production line of VERTIV Jiangmen branch,this paper studies the balance of the assembly line in the back section of the production line.The main research contents are as follows:First of all,according to the current situation of distribution cabinet production line,IE theory,production line balance theory and SLP layout analysis method are used to analyze the station,process,operation time and production line layout of the production line to find out the causes of the problems affecting the balance of the assembly line.At the same time,the operation data is analyzed to find out the bottleneck process.Secondly,Use the ECRS principle to analyze and re-sequence the process flow of the power distribution cabinet.Redesign the production line layout according to the basic principles of production line layout and the characteristics of the company’s plant,and propose measures to improve the balance of the power distribution cabinet production line.Finally,the feasibility of optimization measures is verified by simulation software.This paper combines production line layout principles,industrial engineering related analysis methods and Flexsim simulation software to verify and optimize the proposed production line balance measures,that has important practical value for the research on balance management optimization of the distribution cabinet production line.
