| Door God painting is a custom of folk New Year pictures,which has a very long history and can be traced back to Shang and Zhou Dynasties.Moreover,Chinese folk New Year pictures are widely distributed.After the middle of Ming Dynasty,the workshops for engraving New Year pictures almost spread all over the country.According to the collected works,except Heilongjiang,Jilin,Xinjiang,Ningxia,Tibet,Inner Mongolia and other places,there used to be workshops for engraving New Year pictures in other places.However,in the fast-paced,digital life,the traditional New Year pictures of door gods are fading out of people’s lives and customs at an extremely fast speed,so it is urgent to find a new way of communication.In 2016,with the vigorous promotion of Bubble Mart,blind box products gradually entered the Chinese mainland market.In the 2020 Double Eleven Tmall Shopping Festival,the total sales of Bubble Mart exceeded 1.42,and on December11,2020,Bubble Mart was officially listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.Blind box has gradually become one of the most creative products for young people.The author thinks that the blind box can be used as a new carrier to convey the essence and function of the door gods’ New Year pictures,enhance the execution and effect of the door gods’ New Year pictures,and become the finishing touch of the door gods’ New Year pictures.In this paper,by exploring the cultural story background,deconstructing the symbols of the door gods New Year pictures,refining their characteristics,and reconstructing the element order,according to the questionnaire survey results and literature data,the core users’ aesthetic and design trends in the current blind box market are analyzed,and based on the method of mixed symbol design,a blind box toy design is designed,which not only conforms to the consumers’ aesthetic but also can tell the door gods’ stories well.Through the research on the design of Wenchuang blind box toys in the New Year pictures of the keeper,we find out the design method of Wenchuang products that can truly satisfy the public and at the same time continue the vitality of folk culture,so that it can become the carrier and disseminator of excellent culture. |
