| The erosion of the semi-rigid base at the horizontal joints of panels is produced during the use of pavement structures,resulting in the occurrence of typical diseases such as staggering and mud,which directly affects driving comfort and safety,and reduces pavement performance and service life.In order to study the erosion characteristics of the base at the horizontal joints of cement concrete pavement,it is necessary to analyze the erosion mechanism of semi-rigid base,carry out numerical simulations and indoor experiments,and study the particle movement law during the erosion process.This paper uses the MMLS3 small-scale accelerated loading test equipment,and study the base erosion area at the transverse joint of the cement concrete pavement.Through the method of theoretical analysis,laboratory tests and numerical simulations,the erosion characteristics of the semi-rigid base course at the transverse joints of the pavement are studied.The main research contents and main results of this paper are:1.Based on the transverse joints of cement concrete pavement,this paper study the erosion mechanism of cement concrete pavement structure and analyze the factors affecting the erosion resistance of semi-rigid base material.2.Considering the test conditions of MMLS3 accelerated loading equipment,a fullscale model of the cement concrete pavement structure is established using a finite element method.Based on Saint-Venant’s principle,similarity theory and size effect,the local scale model is reasonably sized.By using fitting methods,the similarity of the full scale model and the local scale model is analyzed.The reasonable size of the local scale model is determined.3.Based on the MMLS3 small-scale accelerated loading test equipment,the erosion loading test of the base is accelerated.By studying the erosion characteristics of semirigid bases at the transverse joints of cement concrete pavement,the effects of different loading times on erosion of the base were studied and the changing law of hydrodynamic pressure were studied.4.Based on the discrete element method,a DEM base erosion model is established.The the base erosion process where the load is located at the lateral joint is simulated,from the analysis of erosion speed,erosion time,erosion area and erosion process.The motion characteristics and motion laws of particles under different load conditions is studied.In this paper,through the model size design of the cement concrete pavement structure,the semi-rigid base immersion loading erosion test was carried out,and the mesoscopic erosion model of cement stabilized macadam was established.To study the erosion characteristics and particle movement of the base at the horizontal joints of the cement concrete pavement,it is of certain guiding significance for the analysis of semirigid base erosion and the formation of staggered platforms,and has certain application value for the improvement of the erosion resistance of semi-rigid base course of cement concrete pavement. |
