Wire mesh damper is a damper that generates hysteresis damping effect by dry friction between metal wires,which can withstand large loads and strong impact resistance.As a damping material,wire mesh mat has good adaptability to temperature,oil pollution,corrosion and aging,and also is easy to maintain and has high reliability.In engineering applications,due to the complicated description of the dynamic characteristics of wire mesh mats,the blindness of the estimation of vibration isolation effects,the application of steel mesh mats often depends on experience or It has to be tried and tested so that the promotion of the wire mesh damper has been hindered.In order to promote the wider application of wire mesh damper,this paper intends to perform dynamic simulation modeling of steel wire mesh mats from a mesoscopic perspective,and derive a set of wire mesh damper design methods suitable for engineering practice.This research project uses a combination of theoretical analysis,practical experiments and numerical analysis to model the wire mesh mat from the perspective of meso-structure,and then develop the model from the meso-structure to the macro-model,and establishes dynamic model which is suitable for engineering design and analysis The dynamic parameterized model can fully reflect the influence of design parameters such as the density,size and shape of the steel mesh pad on the dynamic performance of the damper.Through the above research,it will fill in the blank of describing the dynamic characteristics of wire mesh mat from the perspective of mesostructure,and directly establishment of dynamic models through relevant physical parameters balanced the contradiction between calculation accuracy and engineering ease to a certain extent,and greatly reduce difficulty of engineering design,is of great significance for the wide application of wire mesh damper.
